With the general belief in Yoruba land that every good thing needs prayer just as every bad occurrence, the Baale of Oyingbo; High Chief Adegboyega Ifakayode Junaid and his Council of Chiefs on 27th May, 2023 held a prayer session for the entire Oyingbo Community.
The prayer was held at the Baale’s Palace which is located on 29, Herbert Macaulay Way, Ebute-Metta in Lagos Mainland. As early as 10am the palace was almost filled to the brim as the people of the community stormed the venue as they honoured the invitation letter earlier sent by the community leader.
It was an interdenominational prayer session which gave room to all religious faiths to pray for the community and its dwellers. This shows how the people of the noble community live together peacefully and do a lot together as good neighbours.
By doing this, the Baale and the good people of Oyingbo have made a big statement worthy of note. They have also brought forth a virtue every community must imbibe to foster group and development in their respective domains.
