- How It Was Clear From Day 1 That He Will Win
For several weeks before the end of Nigeria’s biggest reality TV show, Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) ended on Sunday, many had tipped Miracle to win the show. Some others predicted his victory as far back as the early days. The show started on January 28th and all the housemates were in the house for 85 days.
The Big Brother Naija’s five finalists were: Miracle, Cee-C, Tobi, Alex and Nina. Miracle Igbokwe went home with a total of N46.2 million, including the N25 million grand prize, a brand new SUV worth N12 million, an all-expenses-paid trip for two to an exotic destination valued at N4.7 million, a complete home entertainment system and appliances worth N3.3m, a N200,000 wager allowance, and N1 million cash prize for winning the season’s Payporte arena games.Miracle beat all the housemates to a 38.18% grand slide, the first runner up, Cee-C, got 28.04%,the 2nd runner up, Tobi, had 22-54%, while the 4th and 5th positions went to Alex, who had 7.07% and Nina with 4. 18%.
Miracle has been a lucky one in the contest as he won many of the awards put up by BigBrotherNaija (Double Wahala) final wager challenge. The lucky Big Brother Naija housemate, had earlier emerged winner of the season’s Payporte arena games challenge with a prize of N1 million. He also won the Pepsi Challenge, carting away 1 million naira. Miracle was again lucky to have won N200,000 wager allowance after picking the box tagged number two. Miracle won the cash in a contest with seven other Big Brother Naija housemates.
They were all instructed by BigBrother to pick a box each labelled 1- 10. BigBrother, who presented the wager challenge as the simplest of the season, presented housemates with 10 suitcases with gift items in each of the boxes. BigBrother said one of the suitcases contained a cash reward and instructed housemates not to pick the suitcase containing the cash reward. He said if any of the housemates picked the suitcase containing the cash reward, the housemate wins the cash reward, but the house loses the wager.
Housemates were given two minutes to pick and open a box of their choice, using the pin code 777. Miracle picked the box labelled number 2, which contained the money. Miracle’s success in the house has been attributed to his many qualities and even numerous viewers had testified to his astounding performance in the house. Miracle is a certified pilot and being a pilot ,you must have some peculiar qualities which were what he said made him victorious in the house.
Miracle was affiliated to all sort of drama and romance in the house and it’s obvious that they were part of what made him the right man for the win. He was a really comical guy, who brought the heat with his charming and calm attitude on the housemates, while in the Big Brother house – Miracle obviously won the hearts of many as they’ve put him up as the winner of the show… Miracle’s calm and calculative nature were part of what gave him the victory.
So many persons also testified to his amazing qualities,” Miracle deserves it because he was always showing enthusiasm toward the arena’s tasks and different challenges in the house, most of which he emerged the winner.” He successful,ly won three different tasks from different companies before the end of the show.”
He used the opportunity provided by the show to launch himself and his innate potential unlike some of the housemates, who paid attention to frivolities, ”.. It didn’t come to many as a surprise that he won the show, as most viewers held the view that he was the housemate with the least tussle among other contestants, while his status as a pilot might have also endeared fans to him. Some of this qualities pointed out were his calmness, being able to cope under high pressure situations, Knowledge of responsibility, Self Motivation, Team Work, Self-evaluation, Precision and determination, to communicate and work well as part of a team, Decisiveness & Quick Thinking Skills, Confidence, Attitude & Self-Discipline and all these are parts of his sterling qualities . After winning the prize,The Pilot thanked Nigerians for the massive support he got during his time on the show.
Miracle said, ”I am not so used to this fan thing, but to every one who voted me, I really appreciate.”I don’t know what to do, my head don scatter, I would not have done this without you. I really appreciate you all. Thank you.” The governor of his state, Imo, Okorocha, has also congratulated him for his grand slide victory at the competition.
Miracle was born in Lagos State on 17th February 1994 and resides in Owerri, Imo State.He’s a pilot, who recently graduated from the aviation school, he entered the Big Brother Naija house with his pilot licence tightly in hand. He has a dancing crew, hip hop.
The pilot graduated in 2017 at the International Aviation College (IAC) and the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology, Zaria. but had his Nursery Education in Warri, Delta state.
He attended Babcock Primary School and subsequently, The Unique College in Ogun State after which he attended his aviation schools.Miracle has in his kitty, several Aviation Licences, including a Private Pilot Licence (PPL), which enables him to fly Private aircraft.The 6-footer enjoys playing Play Station and Xbox aside driving on long journey and engaging in extreme sports.
As he revealed in the Big Brother Naija – Double Wahala edition – his dreams and aspirations are acquiring a Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL).In the Big Brother Naija house, Miracle was famous for his romance with fellow housemate, Nina.He also won prizes, while engaging in some of the house’s activities.He’s single and his love of dancing and camping is only paralleled by his sense of fashion, especially his skinny jeans.
He feels grateful for everything in life as he knows how financially difficult it was to get there.He hates inequality and says he’s not in the game for the money.On what he would use the money to do, he said “ I’ll use part of the money to get more aeronautic training and the rest to help my family to the best of my ability.
