On Sunday, July 2nd, 2017, a crop of big boys and babes converged at Hawley Street ,Lagos Island as popular Lagos big boy Hon.Prince Adekoya Balogun who is married to one of the biggest beauty experts in Nigeria, Eni Lise Balogun, the brain behind Lise Beauty brand, launched his new lounge called The Board Room.
The tastefully furnished lounge has a Barber’s Room and a Gentlemen’s Lounge where you can relax and get groomed in a luxurious ambience. At the lounge, there is barber’s section where you can get a haircut, a spa room for facials with many customised body care products for men, pedicure, manicure and a boardroom lounge for get together or where you can hangout .It can also serve as a viewing centre where you can view different matches while savouring some splendid refreshments.
The launch of the lounge was witnessed by many personalities who are friends of the couple. There was an array of refreshment ranging from different exotic drinks, cocktails, finger foods, side dishes, sharwama, suya and several dishes. The event which literally shut down activities in the area lasted into the wee hours of night. Speaking about the lounge, Prince Idris who is the brain behind The Boardroom Lounge revealed why he decided to set up the centre.
In his words, The Boardroom is a gentlemen’s Lounge where we groom you and take care of you, you can also have a meeting here and it is a one of its kind here in Lagos Island. Here you have a barbers shop, a lounge, a viewing centre and a bar. Am from Lagos island and we don’t have enough space here so I feel we need to have a classy place to hang out as well and that’s why I decided to set this place up for us here in Lagos Island”.
Of course his ever loving and very supportive wife Mrs Eni Lise Balogun was on ground to ensure the event went well. She arrived few hours before the party kicked off looking radiant in a black casual dress that complemented her glowing skin. The very amiable and beautiful beauty expert attended to guests with great excitement and also danced her heart out to the blasting music from the DJ.The very sociable Eni also had her clique of friends who came en masse to support her. It is no doubt she is a fun loving woman, a very doting wife and caring mother as she juggled between attending to her guests and also ensuring that her 3 kids who were also present to support their dad, and their friends were well catered to.
Although she was visibly very busy all through the party, her eyes never stopped darting to the direction where the kids were and she always went to serve them at interval.
