Nigerian actor, producer, and filmmaker Bello Ojumola has achieved a monumental feat by breaking the Guinness World Record for the longest acting marathon, completing a 139 hours and 19 minutes of non-stop acting. The record-breaking performance, known as the “Act ATHON,” captivated audiences as Ojumola pushed the limits for 5 days and 12 hours.
Known for her works such as Ojumola, the Chef, Apajuba, Omotebi, and others, Ojumola took on the challenge with a deep sense of purpose—not just to set a new world record but to inspire a sense of community among her fellow actors and supporters. While receiving overwhelming encouragement from online fans, Ojumola pushed herself beyond 132 hours, hoping for more in-person support from colleagues.
“In-person support fuels my spirit in a way that words cannot describe,” Ojumola shared on instagram during the Act ATHON. Determined to feel the physical presence of her peers, she pressed on until she finally hit 139 hours and 19 minutes, a monumental achievement in the world of theater and acting.
Following the record-breaking feat, Ojumola expressed her gratitude to those who supported her throughout the marathon, both online and in person. “This victory belongs to all of us,”she said, calling on her fans and fellow actors to continue rallying behind her as she embarks on the next chapter of her career.
