It was an array of important dignitaries from all walks of life when Oba Oniru of Iruland, Oba Idowu Abiodun Oniru turned 80. The first class monarch who never looked age 80 literarily shut down the whole of Victoria Island and Lekki axis for his colourful celebration.
The party which witnessed a massive turn out of guests was a 3-day celebration which started with different prayers from Sunday, 3rd Sept, Monday 4th Sept and the grand finale was on Wednesday 6th Sept, 2017. Many celebrities turned out in lovely multicolor Ankara aso-ebi matched with white headgear for the event.
The women did not disappoint as not only did they wear the Aso-Ebi and gele for the day but their necks did all the talking with expensive jewelries which further showed their class and status. You will not except less of such because of the status of the monarch and his party was simply a show of wealth affluence. They all looked glamorous in it.
The multi colored aso-ebi did justice to guests outfit as it came out nice on everyone. Even some of the celebrant’s children wore the Ankara. Many shonein their different styles and matched it with statement jewelries.
