•Drags Thousands To Their Prayer Mountain In EPE
•Empowers 200 Widows
It was loud in Lagos penultimate week precisely in Epe when popular pastors, Bishop Femi Lucas and his pretty wife, Prophetess Funmi Lucas, literally locked down Epe with their annual 5 days power-packed prophetic prayer programme tagged: From story to Glory. The programme took place on the first of its kind mountain, Ori Oke Iyanu in Epe. The mountain played host to thousands of people who attended the programme. Many also visited the Flourish Palm prayer centre at the mountain which is a holy place where fervent wildness prayers are offered. It started on Monday from 25th to Friday 29th October. The prayer mountain was also founded by them about a year ago. Now, the mountain has since become the most sought-after site for many who are seeking one thing or the other from God through prayers.
The 5 days programme featured the empowerment of 200 widows and the less privileged. Medical outreach alongside music and entertainment. The programme was carried out by the Dominion of Zuriel love foundation, DOZ Foundation.
The whole of Epe bubbled to life with the special programme that paraded more than 10 men of God. On the pulpit were Bishop Femi and Prophetess Funmi Lucas as host ministers. Others were Prophet Mattew Olakanmi, Professor Olawuyi, Prophet Femi Oni, Dr Yinka Osuolale, the Rev. Morakinyo, Bishop and Rev. Rowland Peters, Bishop Faith Sonibare and Prophet Dele Ogundipe.
More than 10 music ministers thrilled guests at the 5 days programme. Among them were Evang. Funmi Oladipupo, Lanre Teriba, Bukola Senwele Jesu, Adegbodu Twins, Adeyinka Alaseyori, Remilekun Amos, Adunni and Nefettiti band, Olatunde Olomola, Baba Ara 2, Esther Opalemo and Femi Olanrewaju.
The grand finale of the event was held on Saturday, 30th October. It featured the major empowerment programme powered by Dominion of Zuriel Love foundation in conjunction with Gospel of Fire Ministries worldwide. The venue was the Gospel of fire ministries church in Ibeju Lekki. 200 widows were empowered with a sum of 1million funds given to an elderly woman for her surgery at the event.
The event had many celebrities in attendance. The Paramount ruler of Ilara Epe, Oba Folarin Ogunsanwo and his Wife, Olori Bolanle Ogunsanwo were there. Chief Mrs Lara Alakija, Olori Aramide Elegushi, Oba Alao and his wife, Olori Sola Alao, Senator Badru, many serving lawmakers also graced the occasion. Bose Osinowo, Lagos Commissioner for Agric, Mrs Bisola Olusanya, Mrs Awokoya among others were present. The occasion was not devoid of entertainment as award-winning gospel acts, Timi Godfrey, Big Bolaji and Faith Band mounted the stage.
There was also music from the popular minstrel, Funmi Oladipupo who came all the way from Canada and Femi Akede.. The introduction of guests was handled by presenters, Akin Akiyemi and Olayinka Ibikunle,. The speakers for the day were the Lagos Commissioner for Agric, Mrs Bisola Olusanya, Former Citizens Bank MD and the wife of Oba Olugbon, Olori Sola Alao and a popular designer, Lanre Da Silva. The Welcome address was read by Bishop Femi Lucas who welcomed all guests and reeled out what the programme was all about. He stood solidly behind his wife all through the programme.
It was another high point for the Lucas as the empowerment programme was praised by all and sundry. Despite that the medical outreach took place in Epe, many people travelled from far distances to access the free medical screening. The free medical outreach was in conjunction with I-care for all foundations. Among the many medical activities carried out were blood pressure check, diabetes screening, vision test, medication and Dental Care.
Prophetess Funmi Lucas looked beautiful in her LDA designed dress as usual. A day after the event was her birthday and she looked stunning in more than 10 outfits, shoes and wristwatches worth over 50million in naira which she spotted. Her generosity is on a higher scale, no wonder, when you go to her, she makes those who seek her assistance smile. Her beautiful make-up was done by the Queen of make-up, Banke Meshida, many people celebrated her birthday on social media.
Together, these anointed God’s generals, Bishop and Prophetess Funmi Lucas pastor a big church in Canada and they are very popular both at home and abroad. All the programmes were handled by the DOZ foundation. The idea was conceived by a charitable love foundation founded a few years ago. It is a non-profit and non-religious organisation. It is an arm of their church, Gospel of Fire Ministries International. The programme is regarded as part of their corporate social responsibility. It is to empower widows, assist the motherless, the girl child, the elderly, giving hope to the hopeless and cater for the less privileged in the society. According to the Lucas, the foundation is our God-given dream of giving back to society and being a blessing to our community and the world in general.
Gospel of Fire Ministries is an interdenominational ministry with prophetic Prayer and deliverance unction. The ministry was incorporated and registered in Canada as a charitable, religious organization. The first church service which was held in Canada in 2009 was attended by eight members, who spread the good news. Gospel of Fire ministries has always been a pioneer ministry. The Gospel of Fire Ministries is made up of men of calibre, women of great stature and peculiar people from all walks of life who have experienced the joy of being created to be celebrated.

The commission has organized several religious programmes and conferences, and many lives have been transformed by the ministration of Bishop & Prophetess Lucas. Several radio broadcasts have been made and magazines published to reach the unreached ministry. A few years back, a gigantic auditorium of the church was opened in Lagos, Lekki precisely and it was dedicated in a big way with a loud thanksgiving celebration.
The church has grown in leaps and bounds over the years. The clergy are proud parents to successful children and their marriage is a living example of a successful union.
