The Editor in Chief of Lekki Express magazine, Bola Olalere and wife, Funmi have filed for divorce at an Ibadan High Court.
According to a petition filed by Messers Luqman Laoye, a firm of legal practitioners, on behalf of Bola Olalere, he is seeking for a decree of dissolution of the marriage against the Respondent, Funmi Olalere on the ground that the marriage has broken down irretrievably, as partners have lived apart continuously for many years.
Responding, Funmi Olalere through her counsel, Olubukola Igbalajobi, also agreed that the marriage be dissolved and that she should be granted the custody of the children of the marriage while Olalere should be allowed restricted access to the children and be made to pay a sum annually for the children’s education and welfare.
The case has been adjourned for hearing on the 15th of February 2023.
