Veteran Indian actor, Om Puri dies at the age of 66.

The prolific actor was found dead at his home on Friday morning, reportedly after suffering a heart attack.

Puri was known for his versatility and gritty performances across global markets. He appeared not only in mainstream Bollywood movies and regional Indian cinema but also numerous British and Hollywood productions.

He was awarded an honorary OBE for his contribution to the British film industry in 2004.
