Efforts are underway to stop a fuel-laden tanker from falling at the Mosalasi area of Ipaja in Lagos.
The development has led to a heavy traffic gridlock on the axis.
Currently, the Nigeria Police, Lagos State Transport Management Agency, LASTMA, the LASEMA Response Unit, LRU, among others are on site to prevent a major fire outbreak.
The road leading to Ipaja and environ has been locked while a diversion has been made to Egbeda for commuters plying the route.
The development followed last Thursday’s fatal tanker explosion that left nine dead and 54 vehicles burnt.
