At the beginning of their career, the two kept their brands separate and hardly took photograph together. Given the revealing spotlight on celebrity couples, the decision paid off well for Simi and her beau as they were able to build their careers outside the spotlight. Although, they tried their best to keep their love life private, their fans impatiently waited for them to go public as a couple.
Just about 4 weeks ago, the 2 could not help, but go public as Simi shared a photo of them kissing at her just-concluded live concert, which she has since deleted. The photo didn’t come as a surprise anyway, considering how Adekunle Gold wrote a sweet post for her after her first live concert almost flopped.
Well, the fans who have waited so long for the confirmation can now rest, knowing that their musical idols are truly in love and in a flourishing relationship.

Inside sources also scooped that they are planning a grand wedding for January 2019 and only one person from each of all the family members of both Simi and Adekunle will be invited as it is meant to be a strictly private affair.
Recall, Adekunle Gold and Simi have teased us multiple times with their photos together in various settings. Even their zodiac signs are very compatible. The stars know what they are talking about, however, both artists have been reluctant to admit there is something going on between them. But there are just too many proofs that they are together. Their lovey-dovey photos from an ocean resort aside, both have inadvertently confirmed their relationship status.
Adekunle also devoted the song called Orente to Simi. He has also often said in his interviews, how much she means to him, and that he could not imagine his life without her. On her side, Simi never said outright that she and Adekunle were a thing.
Nevertheless, she let it slip that she was in a relationship.To further prove the fact that Simi and Adekunle Gold are together, a source close to both of the artistes shared some juicy information.
They stated that Simi’s family knows Adekunle well (and vice versa), and that the two are planning to tie the nuptial knot which they have done. Some quarters were thinking she might be involved with Falz, another famous Nigerian music artiste, but Falz was also playing along with them so, no one would ever know who Simi is having an affair with. However, these two often post photos of each other, or photos showing how close they are. They even have a joint EP called Chemistry, where both of them were shown to be half-dressed.
Regardless of whether or not Simi and Adekunle Gold are actually dating, we hope that they will not stop making great music any time soon. They make a perfect working duo, and if romance is also involved, it is even better. Love can be a great source of inspiration.
