On Saturday, August 5th, 2023, the Omisore Dynasty from Ile-Ife held a press conference in Lagos to defend Senator Iyiola Omisore, who had been accused of neglecting his family members. Many older and younger family members gathered at the Ilupeju Press Conference venue to refute a video that recently circulated on social media. In the video, Kemi Omisore-Kuye, a family member, accused her brother of not assisting them. The purpose of the press conference was to exonerate Otunba Iyiola.
The lady at the center of a controversy apologised to her brother and the Omisore family in Osun State. She explained that her previous statements were made under pressure from political enemies of Senator IYIOLA Omisore in Osun. She clarified that she had no prior issues with Senator IYIOLA and had no reason to accuse him of anything. She humbly requested forgiveness from Senator IYIOLA and apologized to all those mentioned in the video, including Chief AKINYELURE, Chief AKANDE, and President TINUBU. And she extended general apologies to the entire Omisore family.

The woman involved in the controversy appeared deeply sorry and begged for forgiveness. Engr. (Dr.) Kunle – Olareni OMISORE, who delivered the Vote of Thanks, emphasized that despite the video’s false claims, our family’s unity is still important to us. We remain a strong and united family.
During the gathering, Hon. A. I. Omisore shared the positive contributions that Senator Omisore has made to his family, Ife community, and the Yoruba people. He expressed that Senator Omisore is always willing to assist anyone in need.
