The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed three new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) in Lagos State.
NCDC made the confirmation via its Twitter account.
It said two cases are returning travellers while the other is a contact of a confirmed case.
This brings the total number of patients with the disease to 30.
The tweet reads, “Three new cases of #COVID19 have been confirmed in Lagos, Nigeria
“2 cases are returning travellers and 1 is a contact of a confirmed case.
“As at 05:28 pm on the 22nd of March, there are 30 confirmed cases of #COVID19 in Nigeria. 2 have been discharged with no deaths.”
Meanwhile, The NCDC had earlier confirmed another case of coronavirus (COVID-19) in Abuja.
This is coming after it earlier confirmed four cases in Lagos and Oyo State on Sunday.
