Since she came in Imo State First Lady , Nneoma Nkechi Anayo Rochas Okorocha has been bringing relief to many people who are unknown to her those who are indigent, poor, and economically vulnerable and she turns these people around to become viable citizen who will contribute to nation building via engagement in worthy ventures that bring about improved living standard.
This is what led her to establish Women of Divine Destiny Initiatives-(WODDI), a pet project of note in Imo state with her spread of humanitarian work across major Nigerian states. Under the umbrella of WODDI are many subsidiaries that deal with humanitarian issues. They include: She Needs A Roof Project-SNARP, Nneoma Girl Child Summit, Nneoma Skills 4-Work Programme, WODDI Monthly Prayer Meeting, Nneoma Kitchen, Nneoma Let’s Talk, Nneoma Leadership Forum, Nneoma impact Youth Centers and Nneoma Fit4Life.
How Imo state First Lady acquired her nick-name Nneoma occurred immediately her husband came into government in 2011 in Imo state. He was the one who baptized her with the name Nneoma: meaning “Good Mother”. And till date the name has taken over her other names which are Nkechi Nwosu. Nwosu is her her maiden name as she hails from Umuso,Eluamam in Isiukwuato LGA in Abia State. Touched by the kind of poor living standards her Imo State women are passing through, she has provided over One Hundred Homes, 100 under She Needs A Roof Project—(SNARP) spread across the 27 Local Government Areas in the state. This woman of substance thinks more about the future of young girls and grooming them with right character remains her responsibility as she established Nneoma Girl Child Summit which holds regularly for teenage school aged girls who attended and drawn from all the 100 electoral wards in the 27 LGAs.
This has encouraged and motivated parents from sending their Girl-Child to acquire higher education and going into meaningful ventures and professions that had transformed their lives for a better one indeed. This is subsequently followed with the NNEOMA SKILLS 4-WORK PROGRAMME where under her WOMEN-OF-DIVINE-DESTINY- INITIATIVES-WODDI skills acquisition programmes are made available to the beneficiaries with starter Pack. Knowing the value of Spiritual fulfillment in someone’s life, Imo State First Lady Nneoma Nkechi Anayo Rochas Okorocha has to put up WODDI MONTHLY PRAYER MEETING an organization that will meet regularly and worship God with prayer of Supplications for God’s mercy and directions
As a trained Caterer and Hotel Management expert she knows the value of nutrition to human development, thus this astute woman being a true mother that cares for the well-being of Imo state citizens opened up NNEOMA KITCHEN a mobile Feeding trucks like a Feeding Caravan that goes from one rural community to another providing balanced feeding foodstuff to indigent families made up of widows, orphans and destitute including vulnerable youths that cannot afford average meal per day.
Her Excellency in a recent Interview said “It is funded by my personal money and those of other good spirited individuals who share the same passion with me. I would like to use this medium to appeal to more good spirited individuals to come forward and assist because as the saying goes “ It is more blessed to give than to receive” In this regard all her laudable projects are verifiable across the 27 LGAs as her SNARP had already provided houses to Mrs Evangeline Uchechukwu Dennis from Obuomadike autonomous community Ohaji/Egbema Local Government Area, Mrs Rose Nnorom from Obokwu Obinze in Owerri West LGA

Others include 40 years old Mrs Franca onyeukwu from Umuopara-Obiangwu in Ngor Okpuala LGA she has been a widow since 10-years. 38 years old Mrs Priscilia Alamezie who hails from Umuagwo in Ifakala Mbaitoli LGA has been living in open make shift hut and Her Excellency built a 2-bedroom bungalow house free for her to relocate to after being a widow for 4-years.
Madam Cathrine Onwuka 60-years old widow from Umuduru Umumnoke Nkworji in Nkwerre LGA got free 2-bedroom bungalow free built for her. Mrs Irene Amajioyi a native of Okwu-Nkwerre LGA lost her husband 13 years ago left with a mud thatched hut Nneoma Nkechi Rochas Okorocha build 2-bedroom flat for her free. Mrs Maria Oguh from Umuariam in Obowu LGA moved out from her mud hut into a 2-bedroom flat home free.Mrs Constance Ihejirika from Ofogboto Owugha Alaike in Obowu got a gift of 2-bedroom bungalow free. Madam Margaret Orji a native of Umuakam Umuago in Ideato-South LGA also moved away from living in a mud hut to 2bedroom flat free Mrs Dorathy Egwuekwe who has been a widow for 8-years and a native of Ntueke in Ideato-South moved from living in dilapidated mud hut into a 2bedroom bungalow free.

The intimidating academic profile of Nneoma Nkechi Okorocha starts with her attending both primary and secondary schools at Jos Plateau state, having attended Saint Theresa’s Primary School Jos, and Saint John’s Secondary School Jos as she obtained a Diploma in Catering and Hotel Management from Malvin School of Catering, Bachelor of Science B,Sc in Accountancy from University of Jos, Masters degree in International Law and Diplomacy MALD from University of Jos. She is currently a student at Imo state University where she is pursuing a Doctorate degree.
Today she is Vice President of Rochas Foundation Colleges which has locations in Owerri, Kano, her husband’s home town OGBOKO IN Ideato South LGA, Jos Plateau state and Ibadan Oyo state as all of them operate on Free tuition and about 7,000 graduates have emerged from Rochas Foundation Colleges across the country. Now about 10, 000 students are enjoying this programme. She is working towards establishing Rochas Foundation University which will have Free tuition. She is a business woman into Real Estate cum Property.
