It was indeed a star studded event, when popular Nollywood actress Bukky Fagbuyi and her team hosted movie veterans in a programme tagged “Holistic Healthcare for legends and icons in the entertainment and broadcasting industry.
The event took place at Lagos Airport Hotel Ikeja, with lots of veterans both in English and Yoruba in attendance. Lots of medical check ups was carried on the veterans such as Screening Hepatitis Band C, Diabetes, Cancer, Hypertension, BMI Check and advise/Nutritional and overall health tips by professionals.
Highly respected movie veteran Ayo Binta Mogaji and actress Funke Etti were the anchors for the event.
The event/screening which started at the early hours of the day was witnessed by veteran such as Racheal Oniga, Baba Suwe, Jinadu Ewele, Nike Peller, Ronke Oshodi Oke, Madam Saje, Fali Werepe, Remmy Shitta, Salome Ekitunde, and a host lot of others.
Free medical lectures were also given on some life threatening ailment, and the first and treatment to be given to victims incase of emergency.
The veterans commend Bukky Fagbuyi and her team, for coming up with such a laudable initiatives, especially in this period where lots of veterans are suffering from different life threatening diseases, which would have been prevented if they had taken their health issue more serious few years ago.
