Popular oil and gas businesswoman, Alhaja Rodiat Onike, and her siblings have on Monday, September 17, 2018, concluded the 8th-day Fidau Prayers in honour of their late father, Chief Imam Sheikh Alyasau Ayinde Ogunro, the chief Imam of Quranic Muslim Community who died on Monday 10th of Sept 2018.
The event, which was held at Lagos Island was graced by respected Islamic clerics and socialites within and outside the state.
Family and friends also showed up to show support for the family of the deceased.

There were showers of testimonies about how kind and humanly accommodating is the personality of the late chief imam and prayers were said by his children, wards, and family members.

The new chief imam, Alhaji Olubukola Ayinla, took time to express his gratitude for the fulfilling life lived by the late Sheikh and how he influenced him in the path of truth.
Alhaja Onike, the daughter of late Sheikh also reminisce on the influence of her father in her life and how he helped her grow strong in both her marriage and in her faith.
The deceased’s son-in-law, Alhaji Shakirudeen Onike also described the late Sheikh as a man of honour who lived his life for others. Speaking with newsmen at the ceremony, Alhaji stated that the late Sheikh has taught him that life is not worth living if it does not portray a good legacy for the generation to come. We will surely miss him and his kind words.
