CAR PURCHASE SCAM: How CAC’s Baba Abiara’s Son, Idowu Is Allegedly Defrauding Unsuspecting Buyers

by Reporter

A serious concern has been raised regarding alleged fraudulent activities perpetrated by Mr. Idowu Abiara, son of the founder of CAC Agbala Itura Worldwide.

According to sources, Mr. Abiara is believed to be involved in a fraudulent automobile scam syndicate operating from the United States. The syndicate’s modus operandi is to target Nigerians seeking to purchase vehicles, producing fake documentation, including shipping documents, to deceive victims into making payments for non-existent cars.

Once payment is made, the syndicate allegedly gives the buyer a series of excuses, and no vehicle is ever delivered. Multiple cases with similar circumstances have been reported, with at least three other victims coming forward. Mr. Abiara is accused of utilizing his father’s reputation to gain trust and commit these fraudulent acts.

A notable victim of this scam is a prominent Lagos-based gospel music artist. The victims are seeking justice and recovering their losses, calling for appropriate authority in holding Mr. Abiara accountable for his actions.
