I forced open my eyes to look at Bobby, but my vision was hazy. I was already lost I the land of ecstasy. I wanted to stop him but I was too weak to lift even a finger. It was as though the whole of my body was under some heavy object and I just couldn’t get up. Bobby’ fingers had crawled down to my navel. It was when I felt them crawling into my pants that I snapped out of ecstasy and came back to life.
“Stop it, Bobby, stop it now, please!” I almost yelled, intense fear written all over me. I reached for his hand and pulled it out of my pant. “What are you..what are trying to do?” I’d blurted, my voice was panic-stricken. Even as I spoke to him, I was battling to clear my head, it was still hazy with emotions.
“But why, sweetheart, is there a problem?” stunned at my sudden snap. I could see it in his eyes that he was pained at my reaction. He was actually hoping I would simply lay back and relax till he would be done having me.
“Have I done anything wrong? You seem to be mad at me, sweetheart,” he’d said, his eyes probing into mine.
“No, Bobby, it’s not you, you’ve done nothing wrong,” I sat up on the chair and quickly adjusted my dress.
“So, what is it then? Why does my touch suddenly repulse you?”
I looked away from him. “I shouldn’t be doing this, Bobby, my father will kill me,” I cried out, wondering what I was doing to let things get to this point. I jumped to my feet, it was time to take my leave…
“Why are you on your feet, don’t tell me you’re leaving,” a confused Bobby asked.
“I’m very sorry, I have to leave, that looks to me like the only sensible thing to do right now,” I responded. ‘’You mean you want to leave me now, just like that?” He held my hand softly in his, there was a sad look in his eyes that evoked my emotions.
“I’m sorry, Bobby, but…”
“There’s no but, Rosemary, you just can’t leave like this, you only just came in, remember?” he’d cut in before I was done talking. “You know what, you will at least sit down, spend a few minutes with me, take a bottle of drink then you can leave, is that a deal?”
I thought about it for a few seconds and then decided to give him just a few more minutes. After all, I really liked him, only problem is that I couldn’t guarantee having a firm grip of my emotions while with him. A few more minutes won’t kill me, I reckoned, but it turned out the next few minutes were going to a defining moment in my life. If I knew what I know now, I would’ve walked away at that point.
“Okay, Bobby, it’s a deal, a few more minutes and I’ll leave” I finally gave in.
Bobby was excited. He sprang to his feet and got me the drink he’d insisted I must drink. He opened it and sat beside me. “Here, sweetheart,” he handed me the drink. I took a long gulp to quench the thirst I was already feeling.
“Hope you would just relax a little with me, Rosie, I can’t believe you were actually planning to leave me minutes ago, is it that you’re not enjoying my company or what?”
I managed to smile at him. “You won’t understand, Bobby, I am not ready for what you’re trying to do with me……” As I talked, I began to feel a heaviness inside my head. But I shook off the feeling and continued talking. “I’m really scared, I don’t want to do anything that will get me into trouble because if my dad finds out….”I stopped again when I began to feel seriously dizzy inside my head. This time, the heaviness I felt was much stronger than before.
“Sweetheart, are you okay? Are you alright?” I heard Bobby’s voice asking. My head was starting to spin now, the entire room seemed to be round and round inside my head. I looked at Bobby. He held me, throwing his arm round my shoulder and looking into my eyes with a smile on his face. That was when I knew something was wrong!
“Bobby…Bobby, what have you….what have you done to me…?” I managed to speak. And that was the last thing I knew before I lost the willpower to resist him. And as I slipped into semi-unconsciousness, I realized the trouble I’d gotten myself into –Bobby has drugged my drink!
