Over 300 celebrities stormed the just concluded 2nd Afrigold Awards held on Friday, December 10th,2021. They were all elegantly dressed with some leaving tongues wagging and jaws wide opened. It was really a night where the shinning stars from the various sectors of the economy converged to connect, networked and toast to creativity.

The venue was a perfect match for such a glamorous event. The ballroom of Oriental Hotel,Lekki,Lagos was the appropriate venue. It has maximum security, sufficient space and all COVID -19 protocols were strictly adhered to.

The red carpet started around 4pm was fully represented with different media houses to have one on one chats with the dignitaries present.
AFRIGOLD MD/CEO MADE THE SHOW CLASSY
All accolades went to Madam Oby Olebara – Uzoukwu and her crew, can we also tell you that,is also her birthday,you need to see her gorgeous blue bridal outfits. The ushers,waiters and other vendors were not only professional about their job,they equally gave guest a good impression about themselves as they turn out in their Black shirt boldly written AFRIGOLD/Oby Uzoukwu.
POPULAR ACTOR ANCHORS EVENT
Popular actor Uche Sam Anyamele and Lady Shama Agah hosted the event as they thrilled the guest from beginning of the event till the end.
TRIBUTE TO NOLLYWOOD ACTORS AND ACTRESSES WHO HAVE PASSED ON
There was a minute silence for Nollywood actors and actresses who have passed on as there pictures were projected on the screen.
Prayer was said by Pastor Saint Peter.
Chairman of the event was Lanre Ayoola.

Lastly,she said, Friday 10th,2021 was also her birthday.
Speaking with City People,Oby said,she was very happy and glad as everything went well the way she planned and she believed everyone is happy as well. She said Afrigold awards also seek to celebrate professionals from other fields, promoting their winning strategies, cultures and excellent teamwork to the world.
