Chinese Giant Construction Firm CCECC Delegates Visit Kaduna State For Development Talks

The Ambassador of China to Nigeria, the President of CCECC, a construction giant, and the Deputy Governor of Hebei province led a delegation Chinese officials on Wednesday visited Malam Nasir El-Rufai of to reciprocate a visit, aimed at furthering agreements reached with Kaduna State officials recently
Governor El-Rufai had earlier led a Kaduna State Government delegation to China in May 2017.
During the China trip, the Kaduna State team signed a tripartite memorandum with the government of Hebei province and the China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC).
The agreement is based on the “sister province + central enterprises” cooperation model.
Signed on 22nd May 2017, the agreement commits the three parties to facilitate exchanges and cooperation in the areas of the economy, trade, energy, infrastructure, technology, culture, education, tourism, and health.
Following this Hebei province-Kaduna State memorandum, a further memorandum of friendship and cooperation was signed between Xingtai City and Kaduna North Local Government.
Hebei Province is visiting Kaduna today as part of the implementation of the agreement.
It is officially tagged as the Kaduna State-Hebei Province International Cooperation and Production Promotion meeting.
The meeting is holding at the Sir Kashim Ibrahim House offices of the Kaduna State governor.
