Anticipation is on the rise as City People Magazine is set to hold her 3rd City People Political Awards on Sunday, November 26, 2017
According to the City Peoples’ publisher, Dr. Seye Kehinde, the event which is scheduled to hold next month, November will celebrate Nigeria’s political front liners across the 6 geopolitical zones of Nigeria and party affiliations.
He added that the awards targets inspired and outstanding political office holders and party leaders who have over the years create new tracks, breaking barriers, extending frontiers, building the future and contributing to the actualisation of the sustainable political climate
“This year, we are taking City People Political Awards a step further by embracing the youths who have been outstanding in their respective political affiliations and participative political orientation in furthering the cause of democracy. We shall be celebrating their successes, challenges, and the future of Nigeria”, he added.
The event will also be an opportunity for grassroots politicians and politically conscious Nigerians to appreciate the effort of our leaders as the event shall also highlights the efforts of our living heroes from all the regions of the country and the role they have played to sustain the Change agenda.
We shall also be focusing on the projects of the 36 states governors, constituency projects of the legislators and political influences of party leaders. The organisers of this innovative award event has already sent out requests to all political office holders to make available pictures and details of projects executed by them for this purpose and states are already responding. This event shall be streamed live on all City People Magazine social media channels.
