The ever stylish fashionista, City People’s Society Editor, gorgeous looking Tayo Oyediji, on Saturday May 15th, 2021 had her exclusive 40th birthday and her Baby’s Naming Party at 15 Golden Gate Avenue, Ajao Estate, Isolo, Lagos.
The party was exclusive for 40 guests though food and drinks were made for 200, so there was too much to eat and drink.
The venue was gorgeously decorated in black and pink with touch of gold. MC Pluto and MC Jimmy were the official MCs at the party. DJ Ibeat was on the wheels of steel.

ABOUT THE CELEBRANT
Tayo Oyediji popularly called Omotee by friends admirers and colleagues is the Society Editor of City People Media Group and has been a part of the company for over a decade. She has been able to contribute immensely to the growth of the brand which clocked 25 years this year.
Omotee covers big time society parties in and outside Lagos and she maintains a cordial relationship with many ‘A’-list society women.
The very stylish lady celebrated her 40th birthday, which was on 9th April alongside her baby-naming party. She changed into three different outfits for the party, all designed by Ruby Alice.
The first was a well-designed blue gown and a matching gele, which she used for the family photograph. She later changed into a gold well-designed gown and wine, gold and black colour gele matching gele.
Then finally she changed into a black-and-wine dress by Radek Clothings and a gold hat to complement her gorgeous look.
Her makeup was done by Veron World of Beauty. It was, indeed, a funfilled day for her as friends and family members were present to celebrate her and she had her husband by her side althrough the celebration with her two cute boys.
THE VENUE TRANSFORMED
The venue of the event was completely transformed by White Foot Concepts. The venue was decorated in black, pink with a touch of gold. Many guests who were familiar with the venue could hardly recognise it, because of the beautiful decoration. Guests were stunned by the beautiful decor.
MC PLUTO & MC JIMMY TAKE CHARGE OF THE EVENT
These two popular MC’s, who have handled big time events within and outside Lagos were the official MCs at the event. There was no dull moment with them around. They literally cracked guests ribs big time and made the event full of fun for all guests.
DJ IBEAT WAS THE BANDSTAND
Popular DJ Ibeat was the official DJ at the event, and he sure added much vibe and colour to the event. He made guests dance to stupor and there was no dull moment as he kept dishing out nicely selected tunes.
PASTOR FRED STARTED THE PARTY WITH AN OPENING PRAYER
The exclusive party was declared opened with an opening prayer from Pastor Fred, before all other things started falling in place.
THE CELEBRATOR’S SPECIAL ARRIVAL DANCE
The celebrator was ushered into the venue of the party with carefully selected nice Christian songs, and she was in company of her husband Engineer Oyediji and her cute son Andre, while her sister and sister in-law were in the front dancing to usher in others into the venue of the party.
The MC also engaged the couple in a dance competition immediately they got to their seats and as expected, the celebrator won. It was, indeed, a funfilled event and no dull moment.
WHAT FRIENDS & FAMILY MEMBERS SAY ABOUT THE CELEBRANT
Many friends and family members came out to say a few things about the celebrator. First and foremost was Mrs Omolayole Olatundun, her elder sister who described her as a blessing to the family and according to her, they call her the Yeye Oge of the family because of her stylish posture. She also thanked everybody for taking out time to come and celebrate with her sister.
Dr Seye Kehinde, the Publisher of City People Magazine, described her as a goal getter, who joined the company from the bank, with banking experience, but with time, she was able to blend perfectly into journalism and has contributed immensely to the growth of the company. He wished her well and prayed she continues to succeed in life.
CHIEF SADE BALOGUN MAKES THE CELEBRATOR CRY
The ever gorgeous Chief Sade Balogun, the Iyalode of Itoriland, was among the special guests at the party. She was, indeed, looking ageless at 65. She also described the celebrator as a sister, whose styles attracted her, and since then they have been inseparable.
She also said that she has always be there for her through thin and thick and has never regretted meeting her in life, because she always sees herself in her, more or less like her sister and ended her speech with prayers.
WITH LOVE FROM RADEKE KUPOLUYIN & FRIENDS
The ever stylish and highly celebrated entrepreneur, Radeke Kupoluyin, stormed the party in company of her friend. She was looking gorgeous as ever in a pink and silver outfit with a matching hat, while her friend was equally looking beautiful in black outfit.
WHO DID WHAT
The event was exclusively for 40 guests to celebrate Omotee at 40, but trust me, she provided food and drinks for 200 guests. Guests enjoyed themselves to the fullest and everyone took food home. The very delicious African and International dish were prepared by Tolex Events, they also served small chops and deserts.
Drinks was taken care off by Dynamise. Mother’s cake, which was in pink colour was done by Beelemashs Cake. There was also a blue and white beautiful cake for the new born and it was done by Royal Cakes.
Simi Pixels took charge of photographs. The total event package was done by the celebrator’s company. Rosebery Events, and everything was topnotch, nothing was lacking in the event. It was well organised and well planned.
