City Tasty Confectioneries, the bakers of City Tasty Bread have added another feather in the year 2020 after bagging a recognition award from the Governor of Lagos, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu for its role in the donation of COVID-19 relief materials. This was revealed at the end of the year thanksgiving service of the highly revered bread bakers in Lagos which held on January 2nd, 2021 at the company’s premises.
In a speech by the CEO of the City Tasty Bread, he revealed why there has been a slight increase in the price of their product and apologized for any inconveniences that might have caused.
The event which held in Lagos was anchored by ace broadcasters and OAPs of Faaji FM, and former FIBAN President, Yemi Sonde and Sulieman Adegbenro (Konsoligbadun).
Some outstanding distributors were rewarded handsomely as a good number of them went home with fantastic prizes. They include Mrs. Ayeni Omowunmi, a mega distributor who won a tricycle that will aid her business. Other prize winners are high performing staff and long-standing staffers of the establishment. Items like Standing Fans, Smart TVs Microwave Ovens, Generator Sets, Washing Machines, Electric Kettles, etc. some of the gifts which were presented by the dignitaries from the high table.
General Manager Mr. Steve Kushiko and the Accountant Mr. Taiwo Rosanwo played a fantastic role in making the event a big success.

“This year thanksgiving of City Tasty Confectioneries Ltd is certainly a moment that we should all savor and enjoy
City Tasty confectioneries Ltd was established in the year 2019, producing all kinds of special bread e.g. sardine bread, coconut bread, honey bread, buttered bread, chocolate bread. etc.
The company has a big dream which will come true by the special grace of God. The vision of City Tasty Confectioneries Ltd is to ensure the product is circulated in Lagos and the interstate as a whole with the best quality. It is our plan to open the Abeokuta branch this year 2021
This year we received an appreciation letter from the Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu due to the role we played during the period of COVID 19 and also based on the quality of our product in terms of taste, chef life, etc, we also received a merit award from African Integrity Magazine for high quality of our product.
We went to use this opportunity to apologize to all our customers that we’ve disappointed in one way or the other, please bear with us, for any inconvenience that we might have caused you in any form, I believe this year 2021 will be a significant and remarkable one for you all and for City Tasty Confectioneries as a whole.

To keep the bell ringing is not an easy task. Anytime we receive complaints from our clients be it, mega distributors, mini distributors and tabletops bread sellers concerning the quality of our product, we quickly set up an emergency meeting with the production team to enable the management to correct those errors. We all know this bread business is highly competitive so, therefore, we have to do the needful by producing a quality product that will distinguish us and single us out among the multitude.
You can notice as well that our prices increased, this is as a result of the situation of the economy. Each time the increase in the price of the raw materials in the market is unbearable, we don’t have a choice other than to increase the selling price.
Our clients have done tremendously well this year by patronizing us with sincerity, on this note we are proud to present them with gifts and awards.
In conclusion, once again, let me use this opportunity to thank all our clients, the staff of City Tasty Confectioneries Ltd for their usual cooperation and their enormous support.
