Over the past several decades, the world has become more aware of how important it is to lead a healthy lifestyle, develop coping and resilience skills, and create a supportive environment wherein humanity across all divides can flourish.
With a mission to impact and bring people closer to nature, Princess Latifah Adebukola Muritala, a UK-certified personal nutritionist, wellness coach, and weight loss expert, launched HerbsByTifah.
Yes, she exudes the savvy of the ancients, the type of spunk that spurred medieval Amazons to dare and surpass exploits that were the exclusive preserve of men.  In about two years of its entry into the wellness industry, HerbsByTifah has become the one-stop-shop for those desirous to achieve a higher quality of life. The seemingly overnight growth of the business and her profile is, however, underscored by a relentless and resilient spirit that she honed from her days as an undergraduate.
That is why CityPeople is celebrating this beautiful woman at its forthcoming CityPeople Female Achievers Awards to be held in Lagos.
Many are eager to know who Princess Latifah Adebukola Muritala, a UK-certified personal nutritionist, wellness coach, and weight loss expert, is. This is so because there is a reasonable expectation in a world of fickle idolatry when you’ve risen to significant celebrity status as quickly as Princess Muritala has done in a short while.
She is a  graduate of Middlesex University with a B.sc in Nursing, Princess Muritala is the Founder/CEO of HerbsbyTifah, a weight management, health, and wellness company in London, United Kingdom.
She fits into the picture of a celebrity with poise and navigates a cultural universe uneasy about caricaturing or deriding as too laissez-faire or elitist.
She would probably keep questioning herself as she continued the ascent. Yes, every patina of her character, from her enthralling femininity to her imperceptible assertiveness, conveys a sphinx-like magnetism.
She is a total woman, an enchanting equal to a post-modern heroine imbued with style, engaging irresistibility, and intellectual depth. Small wonder, many would compare her to the fresh verdure of the field that leads the dancing Naiads through the dewy meads. This palpable and pervasive anxiety is expected because of the self-effacing and self-deprecating nature of this cheerful and relentless giver who has, however, taken the UK wellness and mental health industry by storm.
Let’s tell you more about Wellness and HerbsbyTifah. Many don’t know that Well-being goes beyond just physical fitness. With basic healthcare scarcely available, and where it is, not very affordable; and people already impacted by intergenerational trauma (pandemic, inflation, earthquake e.t.c), Princess Muritala has a clearer picture of some key factors that allow humanity to grow and prosper, and some understanding of what can be done better.
Thus, in August 2020, she announced the imminent launch of her premium herb brand, HerbsbyTifah, to the public during her birthday and the product subsequently hit retailers’ shelves in September of the same year. HerbsbyTifah was painstakingly put together for overall human wellness and it is committed to connecting people with the best-in-class offerings that support mental, physical, and nutritional health. She said, “Our products are 100% natural and contain the purest raw form of African herbs, seeds, and superfoods of the highest quality, designed to nurture our bodies and spirits.”
According to her, the reactions generated from taking the HerbsbyTifah can be described as “ the desired effect” for expected results, adding, “Detoxification, using the toilet more, increased thirst can be classified as side effects but they are part of the effect required for the desired result.”
HerbsbyTifah, which has been certified by related health authorities, is suitable for male and female adults from age 18. Variants of HerbsbyTifah herbal medicine products include; Tummy Blast Granules – made for tummy fat burner that brings fast visible results, reduces tummy, full body detoxification, and improves digestion.
There is the ‘Stubborn Fat Blaster Liquid Solution’, which is packed with super potent natural antioxidants for maximum effect on stubborn fat. Princess Muritala said, “The plant ingredients in Stubborn Fat Blaster Liquid Solution and its unique mechanism of action with  Tummy Fat Blaster Granules offer the fastest possible results. By flushing excess water out of your body, it makes your limbs, stomach, and face look slimmer within days.” There is also the HBT’s all-inclusive Fibroid Herbal Care bundle, which consists of the Fibroid Herbal Granules, Fibroid Herbal Liquid, and Fibroid Herbal Capsule.
For women who are ashamed of their stretch marks, HerbsByTifah has the Stretch Mark Herbal Cream – which fades out the appearance of old and new stretch marks, penetrates the dermis to support broken collagen fibre, and helps improve skin elasticity.
The HerbsbyTifah’s 2-in-1 Ultra-Slim Decaf Organic Coffee is a 100% organic coffee with absolutely no caffeine. “It is sugar-free with no artificial flavours, yet delicious and creamy. The organic coffee prevents new fat from forming and as well gives energy with no jitters or crash afterward,” Princess Muritala said.
While explaining the importance and efficacy of herbs as an alternative to orthodox medicines, the United Kingdom-based herbs expert warned against patronising inexperienced and fake herb medicine practitioners. She pointed out that the unprofessional attitude of some elements in the business is the reason why many people don’t believe in or trust the efficacy of herbal medicines. She also urged the general public to do proper background checks before using any herbal drug. “Well-refined products like ours – HerbsbyTifah – are slowly bridging the gap and as well giving people reorientation on herbs and their effectiveness,” she added.
Passing the litmus test for determined success seekers
It is pertinent to note that Princess Muritala’s inherent business acumen did not just emerge like the ‘big bang theory’; the zeal to achieve set goals led her into logistics services, with international and local operations.
Latifah had an epiphany about her future quite early in life with the realization that she could not bear to serve another man for too long or play underling to any man or woman as she never believed in wasting her most productive years in building another man’s dreams. She conceived her dreams almost as the exact equivalent of the great Gothic cathedrals, the supreme creation of an era conceived with passion by unknown artists. Like the passionate artist, she pursued her dreams unhindered by lethargy and that constant spell of self-indulgence that afflicts a woman in her prime. Her passion stoked by a hunger to succeed, she defied the odds of ambition and the usual elements fated to manifest as the bane to growth in every woman’s life.
Seeing success as her responsibility, Princess Adebukola Muritala actively infused her duty roles in her choice of business with family responsibilities as a wife and mother. No doubt, her doggedness and burning desire to succeed propelled her to cross mountainous hurdles of challenges – the litmus test for determined success seekers.
She demonstrated this when she hid her pregnancy while pursuing her nursing degree at Middlesex University. “I hid my pregnancy so that I didn’t have to defer my degree,” she disclosed. She also had a few low times, but her ability to always birth good things has been her respite. She revealed that one of her worst business moves was doing business with family and friends.
“Not giving up, prayers, hard work, willing to learn are what have been my sources of progress. Also being inspired by successful business owners and the relationship I build with my customers are key factors to the journey so far,” she said.
Speaking further on her private life, she disclosed that her greatest wish is never to have a problem that is easily unsolvable; “I’m not a billionaire, but I have faith that I will be soon. I’m a very content person; everything I need I can afford. There are things I don’t need that I can afford too, but I’m not the type to be pressured into doing things for validation. God has been good to me,” she said.
