The general superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor William Kumuyi has warned the people of the world that there comes a time of trouble where there will be great disaster for the entire human race.
Pastor Kumuyi, the respected international gospel minister, told a gathering of Christian leaders that the present world would soon fade away, thereafter a period of trouble which he called the great tribulation will befall the people of the world for a period of seven years.
In his teaching on “The Great Tribulation and World Wide Suffering,” Pastor Kumuyi said the suffering will not be localized but it will be a universal suffering where people who refused to surrender their lives to Christ will pass through untold hardship for a seven-year-period.
He said the suffering will be led by the anti-Christ who will compel everybody in the world to bow down and worship him and those who refused will pass through different forms of torture.
He said the anti-Christ will not listen to any form of advice but he will attempt to make himself like God and would demand worship from all who will be on earth.
He said prior to this development, Christians who have surrendered their lives to Christ must have been captured to heaven in what he described as rapture of the saints.
According to him, the crisis being witnessed in the world, the killings, national and international crisis, epidemics, disasters, economic downturn and recession, the evil occurrence even in churches are all signs of the impending disaster.
He said the anti-Christ will torment the people of the world as he will have the final decision on what obtains at that time. He said the anti-Christ will trample upon every religion and present himself as the object.
He called on Christians to serve God with the whole of their hearts, do away with every corrupt attitude and live to please God so as to partake in the rapture and escape the great tribulation.
