•After 7 Months Battle With Stroke
Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo is regarded as one of the most stylish and good looking pastors in the country. He is the senior pastor of Commowealth of Zion Assembly Church, COZA in Abuja and Lagos. He is also one of the most recognized ministers in Nigeria due to the popularity of his church, his luxury lifestyle and his sense of style.
For over a week, concerns have been raised over the health status of Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo, following the release of his latest photographs. The photographs were released by the church and said to have been taken in Old Trafford, Manchester, United Kingdom. In the photographs, Fatoyinbo, who was with his wife, Modele, and other members of the church, looked very lean and old.
After the photos were shared, people took to the church’s comment section to inquire about Fatoyinbo’s health. It was a question begging for an answer and as at the time.
It was gathered that the COZA Pastor, Biodin Fatoyinbo suffered a stroke in April and he is currently recuperating from the illness. For those who are close to him, most especially his church members, knew he has been absent from church for many months, nursing this ailment. It was after he was able to walk on his own that they fixed the date for the opening of the 2 new branches in Old Trafford.
Pastor Fatoyinbo was there to commission the 2 parishes and many members were happy to have seen him after a long time. The last time the pastor was on pulpit was in April, about 7 months ago. He practically shunned church so that he can fully recover from his illness.
It must have been a trying time for the Fatoyinbos, because for 7 solid months, he couldn’t perform his pastoral duties due to the health challenge he suffered. He has surely bounced back big time and return to the pulpit immediately.
From almost all accounts, Biodun Fatoyinbo is an amazing guy. An exceptional gift to the body of Christ, a preacher with uncommon prophetic insight into the Word. His ministry has touched lives across various divides, especially the youth.
He graduated from University of Ilorin and finished up at the University of Benin. As Pastor Biodun has made a great huge success of his ministry is also what doubles in his marital life. Happily married to his sweetheart of over 10 years, Pastor Modele,she doubles as a co-pastor of COZA.If you are a member of COZA or you are an ardent follower of Pastor Biodun on social media, apart from posting pictures of all activities in the church, one thing he does not joke with is his wife. He celebrates her almost everyday and puts up her pictures with lovely write-ups to go with it.

Together they are fulfilling the mandate of raising a Takeover Generation on the platform of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly. No wonder, all through his illness, Pastor Modele stood by him and she was not ashamed to share his recovery photographs with the world. Today, not only do they wear designer wears and shoes, they ride in the most expensive vehicles and pastor a world-class church. The Pastor acknowledges that even though he always knew God would reward them, he wouldn’t have been able to do it alone without his wife by his side. Pastor Biodun has been described as an amazing preacher with a depth of insight, a good father to all his children, spiritual and physical, and a great husband to his wife, Pastor Modele.Many visitors to his church describe the charisma of the man that is ‘Biodun Fatoyinbo and this has led to the growth of his congregation which now numbers in the thousands.
Pastor B established the first branch of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly on the 14th of February 1999 in Ilorin, Kwara State, and can now boast of other branches in Lagos and Abuja, Port Harcourt and Dubai.. He left Ilorin to head the newly established Abuja branch few years ago.The church started like a house fellowship in 1999 in Ilorin ,Kwara State. The church has been in existence for 19 years. They had their 1st service at Wonderland Garden then moved to Kwara Hotel, it was later revealed to Biodun Fatoyinbo to move to Abuja. Their 1st service was at Nicon Luxury Hotel, then to Sheraton Hotels, International Conference Centre and later settled at Metro Plaza, Central business District where they run 3 services. As the church continues to enlarge, they moved to This Day Dome, FCT and after few months,they moved to their permanent site, at Guazape Hills, Asokoro, FCT ,Abuja. Pastor Fatoyinbo is known for his exceptional and flamboyant taste, both personally and even in the way he runs his church.He does not joke with his high- end luxury outfits so also does his wife. To put it simply, he simply lives big.
His wife, pastor Modele Fatoyinbo is popularly called Mommy D. She is an embodiment of a wife and a virtuous woman. She is a prolific preacher of the gospel and a writer of word- based books. She is as fashionable as she is spiritual, maintaining a balanced christian life.She is also a Senior Pastor at the Commonwealth Of Zion Assembly (COZA) and a blessed mother of four lovely children.Her love for God and passion for exceptional christian living is undebatable. She hosts an annual outreach known as “The Woman of Colour Conference”, through which she has touched the lives of several women across ages. She is not just a preacher’s wife, but a preacher married to a preacher. Her platform of influence extends beyond the pulpit as she also communicates divine wisdom through her writings. It sure takes an exceptional dose of grace to combine the roles of a pastor, intercessor, wife, mother, author, preacher, and counselor.
