One of Nigeria’s oldest and leading private institution, Doregos Private Academy, organized an Inter School Basketball competition on Thursday, October 4, 2018, in school premises, situated at Akinogun Ipaja in which a number of schools participated.
Students from various schools were very excited to be part of this competition and displayed their talent with zeal and enthusiasm.
The objective of this competition was to inculcate sportsman spirit and create healthy competition amongst youngsters. More than 200 students from Lagos schools are set to participate in the competition
Medals and certificates are billed to be given away to winners and participation certificates to all the participating schools.
The school Principal lauded the efforts of the students and the teachers for their excellence and exhibition of talent
For a smooth organisation of these competitions, the schools have been divided into four Zones. Doregos Private Academy is part of Zone 1 along with Queens College, Yaba, Kawefunmi Private College GRA, Shagamu, and Vivian Fowler Memorial Girls College.
The preliminary game is billed to start on Saturday, October 20, 2018, and ends with the finals that are scheduled to take place on February 7, 2018, at Doregos Court.
