Begins Massive Empowerment of Less Privileged
As the anticipation builds up ahead of the celebration of Dr. Siju Iluyomade’s 60th birthday, one of the most dynamic philanthropists of our time in Africa, many individuals, especially the underprivileged, have started receiving gifts to mark the diamond jubilee of this illustrious woman.
Dr. Siju, who is a lawyer with over three decades of experience, will turn 60 on January 8, 2024. Despite the grand reception that will be held in her honour for family and friends, Dr. Siju, who is also a pastor, is more concerned about using the celebration to further her humanitarian activities by giving out gifts, food, and packages to less privileged families.
Hundreds of individuals received goody bags at the last edition of one of her platforms, Handmaidens Women in Leadership, which was held during the week, to kick start the 60th birthday celebration in style. According to reliable sources, this kind of gesture will continue as a mark for the celebration of the birthday until the birthdate day comes on January 8th, 2024.
We have also been informed that no fewer than 30,000 Arise Food Baskets filled with various foodstuffs will be distributed on January 8th to the needy as part of her 60th birthday celebration.
Dr. Siju, who is the convener of Arise Women, a pure humanitarian non-governmental organization, has used the platform to intervene for the less privileged across the country in the last 15 years, building schools, hospitals, boreholes, providing fertilizers for farmers, skills acquisition programs, empowerment initiatives and many more.
