“Olubankole” (are we allowed to call him that?) Banky W has finally taken himself off the market with his “internet-breaking” engagement to the Nollywood actress, Adesua Etomi.
Like the second blow in a fist fight – we didn’t see it coming -, the latest couple announced their introduction will hold this weekend (no venues announced yet so slow your rolls).
In the absence of the kind of details that we need to crash the upcoming wedding, here’s what we can do: guess the details that are readily available to us via the beautiful invention that is called the internet.
Let’s start with those who we think Banky W will have as his groomsmen.

Ikechukwu, the singer/rapper was the best man who ruined the reception at Dunni and Dozie’s wedding in The Wedding Party. We cannot imagine a world where Ikechukwu will not be at the real wedding party.

We already said he’s the next most eligible bachelor in these parts now that Banky W is no longer the Chief of babyboys’ club. Also, he’s one member of the #secretkeepersclub and that’s enough to get him a pass to the groomsmen club.

Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, host, compere and still a baby boy even though he’s married. A quick scroll through the groom’s Instagram will tell you that Ebuka Obi-Uchendu being a groomsman is a no-brainer. Same rules apply to the next two prospective groomsmen.
Tunde Demuren
Segun Demuren
The Aviation badass brother of Tunde Demuren and co-owner of EME, banky W’s record label, should, as they say, be a sure banker.
Lamide Adedeji
Remember #SLAM, the wedding hashtag that trended in 2014? Banky W is a close buddy to the Group Channels manager at Soundcity. Maybe we are mistaken but we’ll see on the wedding abi?
