On behalf of the Kabiyesis, the Giwa-in-Council, the Council of Chiefs and the entire members of the Egbe Bobakeye Okunrin Akile Ijebu, the Giwa, Otunba Biodun Onanuga congratulates the Executive Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun CON, on the declaration of Ogun State as a frontier State for oil exploration by the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Limited (NNPCL).
While recognising the economic benefits of this development to Ogun State, particularly Ogun East Senatorial district, being the catchment area of the exploration, the Giwa applauds the achievement as not only one that potentially enhances the prosperity and national status of the State as an oil producing one, but underscores in addition, the Governor’s unwavering dedication and focus in strengthening the economic viability of Ogun State.
The Giwa also seizes the opportunity to express appreciation to the Governor for honouring the Egbe’s invitation to commission its multipurpose hall at Ijebu Ode recently.
He wishes the Governor more success in bringing lasting developments to Ogun State.
