Events Queen, Anike of 3rippleadorable Talks About Her Success Story

by Seye Kehinde

This is the success story of a very beautiful lady called Onikepo Anike Fatimot. She is very hard-working and focused. Many simply call her Nike. Some call her Anike. She doesn’t mind which one you call her.

She is a damn good Events planner. She is good at what she does. She knows her onions. What stands her out from the pack is the quality of her services. She plans Big and Small parties. She coordinates events also. She handles Blogging of Events, Photography and Videography. The list seems endless.
A few days back, CityPeople got her to tell us her success story. She is the Founder & CEO of 3rippleadorable, a wave-making events company.
Her company is doing well and it will soon be a year old. How does she feel about this, we asked her.
“I feel great, I feel exceedingly happy, overly happy.” “I feel like I am fulfilled. I never believed we will be here today, although we are not there yet. But Alhamdulilai thus far.”
We got her to tell us about her success story in this business.

“The success story of 3rippleadorable are my contacts, I started with my contacts. When I first called my sister and told her about it she booked me for 3 parties immediately and she paid what I asked without hesitating. From there my sisters will call and friends started calling to cover their events, for months no jobs from outside my contacts. So, my success story is my contacts. Alhamdulillah.”
How is she planning to celebrate her anniversary? “We are looking to empower the less privileged, as I have done before with my Hybes Empowerment on Facebook. I like to do charity work. I like to support people, to empower people. With Hybes Empowerment we were able to fix some problems on our Facebook page so I want to do something like that again.”
How did she coin her brand name? “I was just with a friend, we were talking and he goes, you know you are adorable and he quickly added, in fact, you are 3 times adorable. And when we finished talking I said to myself I think I like that and I changed my handle on Instagram to the 3rippleadorable. When I opened my bakery in Ibadan, my sister said use adorable already and I said let me just use my IG name and to the glory of God it stays and the same thing when I started my events business it goes with my slogan anything you adore we will make it 3rippleadorable.”
What are the services she offers? “We offer different packages: I do coordinating events, I plan events, and we offer photographs, we offer videography, event coverages, and bread for party souvenirs. We have different bread sizes.”

What sort of a person is Anike? “I am a very down-to-earth kind of person. I am very nice, but I don’t have a little space for nonsense. I love life and I am a positive person. I like positivity and positive energy around me. I like to tell it as it is. I hate calling Yellow Back and with me what you see is what you get. I don’t pretend and if loyalty is a person I think she is me. I am loyal to a fault, so I can’t stand people that aren’t loyal and I think it has got me into trouble than it has helped me. I love common sense because it’s not common so when I see one I appreciate it.”
She told us about her courses. “I finished my degree in Events at the University of Plymouth, BSc (Hons) in Events and Entertainment Management.”
