Former Governor of Ebonyi State, Chief Martin Elechi has dumped the Peoples Democratic Party and has joined the All Progressives Congress, APC.
He registered with the APC on Sunday at his home in Echialike, Ikwo Local Government Area of the state after the party’s national, zonal and state leaders attended a thanksgiving service at St Theresa’s Catholic Church Abakaliki.
They were there to thank God for the recovery of President Muhammadu Buhari from ill-health.
He noted that his decision to join the party was the intractable crisis in his former party, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
He noted that he decided to join the APC to be part of the progressives in building the state and the nation.
