A former Ekiti governorship candidate of the Alliance for Democracy in 2014, Oluseyi Osekita, has dumped his party for the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Osekita said he and his supporters were leaving the party for the APC because of “a not too inspiring leadership.”
Osekita said he had resolved to join APC’s candidate, Kayode Fayemi, owing to his leadership quality in the struggle to liberate the state.
He said, “Fayemi is the best for Ekiti; he did well in the office and gave a free hand to his appointees.
“He was not a dictator and he executed legacy projects which are still there to speak for him.
“I’m leaving with all my supporters in the 16 local government areas to the APC to join in the struggle to liberate the people of the state.”
