Back in 2012, Raven-Symone announced on Twitter that she would like to keep her sexual orientation private. However, with the swipe of legalization of same-sex marriages in 2013 across the country, she once again turned to Twitter, but this time to express how happy she is that she can actually now get married if she wants to. Two years after her confession, she introduced her now ex-girlfriend, AzMarie Livingston, to the public.
Wentworth Miller
The “Prison Break” star denied being gay when questioned back in 2007. However, in 2013, he finally came out and admitted that he was. More recently, he refused to attend the St. Petersburg International film festival in Russia because of Russia’s stance against homosexuality. Miller is one of the few Hollywood celebrities who manages to keep his private life strictly under wraps. It’s unknown if he’s currently dating someone.

Queen Latifah
Queen Latifah’s sexuality has sparked many rumors through the ages, but nobody could tell whether she is certainly gay until she decided to come out in 2012. Her partner is Eboni Nichols, a professional choreographer and dancer.
In 2008, she told The New York Times, “I don’t have a problem discussing the topic of somebody being gay, but I do have a problem discussing my personal life… I don’t care if people think I’m gay or not. Assume whatever you want. You do it anyway.”

In spite of many years of speculation, this actor would not come out and admit he is gay until his late 40s. In 2007, when he returned to theater acting, he publicly talked about his husband Brian Hargrove, whom he had been with since 1983.
“I had no idea I was gay, even through high school, because there weren’t really enough role models or cultural images for me to recognize what that even meant,” he said.
Pierce and Hargrove tied the knot in California, days before the law banning all same-sex marriages in the state was adopted.

The supermodel born and raised in British high society is known not only for her work for Victoria’s Secret, but also for her runway parades for multiple design houses like Chanel, Saint Laurent, and Stella McCartney. Apart from modeling, she somehow managed to build a successful acting career as well, and has already had several roles in movies such as Anna Karenina, Paper Towns, and Suicide Squad. She is not exclusively lesbian, but openly bisexual, and has been romantically linked to many famous ladies, such as musician St. Vincent and actress Michelle Rodriguez.

If anything, Neil Patrick Harris is an amazing actor. Lauren Jauregui
Lauren, who was a member of the girl group Fifth Harmony, came out shortly after the 2016 U.S. presidential election to openly identify herself as a bisexual Cuban-American woman.
Jauregui was later featured as a singer on Halsey’s song “Strangers.” The song garnered much praise as a “long-overdue bisexual milestone in mainstream music.” The singer specifically chose Jauregui for the track, instead of working with a straight artist: “I just love that Lauren (Jauregui) and I are just two women who have a mainstream pop presence doing a love song for the LGBTQ community.”

Billy Gilman, known for being a country music star, came out in 2014 as being gay after a reporter began blackmailing him about his sexuality. Gilman was a child music star and now he has rebranded himself as an openly gay man in the industry.
When he made the announcement online, he said he was worried that coming out would affect his career, stating: “In recent years, when I came back to Nashville, there were rumors and whispers, you know, ‘Is he, or isn’t he?’ I love the industry, but many know being a gay male country artist is not the best thing. So I thank you for your support, and I know some people won’t agree with this, and that’s OK, to each his own. But I felt it was time for me to be honest and to be truthful.” So, what’s up with Gilman’s love life today? Gilman is not married, but he is reportedly dating a man named Christopher Meyer.

After Keke Palmer released the video “I Don’t Belong To You,” she explained, “The video was to represent the young woman today — it’s not the traditional woman anymore — and not the specifics of ‘Am I gay? Am I straight? Am I bi?’ I’m making the rules for myself, and I don’t have to be stuck down to one label.”

The pop celebrity has said that she knew she was bisexual from the age of 14. Yup, this is when she was also Hannah Montana.
“My whole life, I didn’t understand my own gender and my own sexuality. I always hated the word ‘bisexual,’ because that’s even putting me in a box,” she told Variety. “I don’t ever think about someone being a boy or someone being a girl,” she added.
Currently engaged to movie star Liam Hemsworth, Cyrus says she didn’t understand her identity until she met other members of the community.
“I went to the LGBTQ center here in L.A. and I started hearing these stories,” she explained. “I saw one human in particular who didn’t identify as male or female. Looking at them, they were both: beautiful and sexy and tough, but vulnerable and feminine but masculine. And I related to that person more than I related to anyone in my life.”

The pop celebrity was engaged to Chicago Fire actor Taylor Kinney for five years. However, the pair called off their engagement and split up in July 2016.

Michael Angelakos
The Passion Pit frontman Michael Angelakos came out as being gay after divorcing his wife Kristina Mucci. He stated that being gay is where he doesn’t feel threatened.
Angelakos, who has been very public about his personal struggles with bipolar disorder and depression, is also an advocate for mental-health issues.
“Publicly, I came out about [being] bipolar and everyone was, ‘Ohhh, that dude is crazy.’ That’s basically overshadowed so much of my work life,” he said. “If I come out, what is that going to do? How can that diminish the impact of it? But then I was like, I don’t care! I don’t care anymore. I like girls, I like boys, everyone’s fantastic, but you know what? I’m gay. Finally.”
Lady Sovereign
Ever since she dropped her debut album, sexuality became a major topic for British hip-hop artist Lady Sovereign.
The 24-year-old, who was Jay-Z’s one-time protegee at Def Jam, has finally admitted her sexual persuasion in an interview with lesbian magazine Diva, revealing she was advised not to come clean about being gay when she first rose to fame. “You can’t hide away forever. It’s just stupid and now I’ve come out, I feel a lot more comfortable with myself. But it was a bit scary back then, because some people do have horrible opinions.”
Jane Lynch
Admit it, the only reason why you didn’t know that this comedian is lesbian is because you were never really that much interested in her personal life. She came out way back in 2005 and has since twice married the same woman, psychologist Dr. Lara Embry.
After growing up as a tomboy, Lynch learned the term “gay” when she was 14 and says she realized, “I’m the female version of that.” But she still struggled with her gender identity for many years.
“It was almost like I had a disease … I had been diagnosed. I had a journal and I remember I wrote, ‘I am gay. No one can ever know this.’ And I went four blocks away and threw it out in somebody else’s garbage,” she says. “It led to a life of secrecy that I had to unravel.”

The singer’s debut album was inspired by a breakup she had with an ex-girlfriend. However, she did say, “I’m never going to put a label on my sexuality, and people should never feel uncomfortable about who they love.”
