The honourable Minister of Works & Housing, Mr Babatunde Raji Fashola (SAN) has congratulated the new Oniru of Iruland,Oba Abdulwasiu Omogbolahan Lawal for his new role.
Fashola, who was Governor of Lagos for 8 years at a time when the new Oniru was a Commissioner wrote to heartily felicitate with Oba Lawal ,his beloved Olori & the entire family, on his ascendancy to the throne of his forefathers.
“Having invested consistently over the last 2 decades,in single minded self development and dedicated public service, your rise to this lofty height in the service of humanity was only a matter of time.
“Fashola wrote in his 1 page letter. He said starting out as a law officer of the Federal Republic and being a part of the team which the good people of Lagos and you all graciously, permitted me to lead from 2007 to 2015 as Governor, l can testify to your industry, diligence and unwavering commitment in all your assigned responsibilities.
He advised the new Oba to continue to apply all his abilities and gifts to his new role as an Oba.
City People gathered that having worked with the new Oniru from their days as key members of the Tinubu administration, BRF has come to respect Oba Lawal‘s ability and capacity to manage human and material resources at his disposal.
