The fiery critic and People’s Democratic Party chairman of Governor’s Forum has been urged to pay President Buhari a courtesy visit in London here he is recuperating.

The PDP Youth Frontier has demanded that Governors Nyesom Wike and Ayodele Fayose should visit President Muhammadu Buhari in London.
The group lamented that visiting Pres. Buhari was not the exclusive right of the All Progressives Congress members only. It should be noted that no member of the main opposition party has visited Buhari in London in the past one month and his well-being has been shrowded in secrecy.
Fayose is a staunch critic of the Buhari-led government and he has accused the First Man of Nigeria of using the anti-graft body – Economic and Financial Crimes Commission to deplete the political strength of the opposition party.
It is not clear if Fayose will accept the appeal after the current administration linked him with the arms deal fraud involving the former National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki during which his Zenith Bank account was controversially frozen.
Meanwhile, the governor last week Thursday advised the Presidency to ensure it gives accurate information about the health status of Mr. President so as to forestall a situation whereby people would continue to spread nasty rumours currently milling round.
“But the best thing we should all realize is that the Presidency owes Nigerians accurate information about the situation of things. Otherwise people would continue to spread one rumour or the other.
“Nigerians demanding for truthful and accurate information about the President’s health from the Presidency are right because the moment you assume such a position, your life has become public. So, we should let Nigerians have the accurate information about the whereabouts of Mr. President.
“At the same time Nigerians too, should be praying for the President. Nobody has control over health challenges, the only thing they are doing wrongly is hiding the facts from Nigerians.
“I cannot say I cannot be sick when I’m sick because I am a public figure. I represent the interests of many people.
“They must know where I am, what is wrong and what am doing it is the right of every Nigerians. But I want to urge all of us to stick together and pray for Mr. President” he concluded.
