It was, indeed, a beautiful time to celebrate a veteran actress,  Foluke Daramola, who has been in the entertainment industry, for more than 25 years. Her colleagues in the movie industry such as Mrs. Bukky Ogunnote, Opeyemi Aiyeola, Omolomose, Tayo Odueke, Eniola Ajao, Temitayo Adeniyi, Grace Amah, Funke Etti, Esther Kalejaiye, Bosede Arowosegbe, Omolola Adeniyi Famiyan, Oyindamola Ayeladun, Taiwo, among many others, came to fecilitate with the celebrator, Foluke Daramola Salako.

It was not an occasion for only movie stars as Josephine Obiajulu Okei-Odumakin, a human rights activist, was there. She is the President of Women Arise for Change initiative, and also a co-anchor of the popular family programme (Mr & Mrs Kogberegbe). Mr. Olarenwaju Olakanlu, President of Down Syndrome Foundation Nigeria and Mrs. Rose Morde also graced the occasion.

It was, indeed, an unforgettable day for the Down Syndrome Foundation as joy and smiles were brought to the faces of the inmates.  The celebrator, her colleagues, children, adults and members of staff of the Down Syndrome Foundation (DSF) did a photo session as students of Bosworth Group of Schools came to felicitate with the birthday girl and family.

Foluke, gorgeously dressed in a white and flower-patterned dress, donated several gift items to the Down Syndrome Foundation and some of her colleagues did the same. The children danced and took photographs with her after they had been refreshed with food and drinks.

The PARA Foundation came to celebrate their founder and president as they presented her a portrait with the caption of FABULOUS at 40.

Mrs. Betty Ogunnote said the host was hospitable, hardworking and disciplined. She wished her more greatness in life. Other movie stars said pleasant things about her and their individual’s experiences with her.

Her happy husband, Mr. Kayode Salako, also gave affectionate comment about her and also talked about their 5th Wedding Anniversary. “I enjoy peace in my home because I have a good wife”

Her sister, Titi Oshodi, talked about the celebrator as a disciplined and passionate woman and wished her blessing  unlimited.

After dining and wining, everyone joined the celebrator and her family members to cut the cake, and the Bosworth Group of Schools dancers entertained the guests.

Josephine Okei-Odumakin, a Human Rights Activist, spoke on the need for government at the Federal and State levels to concentrate on education and support efforts by individuals for the Down Syndrome Foundation to better the lives of sufferers.  She said: “Every child deserves a good life not minding the circumstances surrounding his/her birth. The National President of the Down Syndrome Foundation, Rose Mordi, appreciated the good gesture of Foluke Daramola Salako and wished her more years on earth.

The host gave the vote of thanks to God, and her loving husband whom she calls her back bone and everyone who came to fecilitate with her.
