The death of Prophet TB Joshua came as a rude shock to the entire world weeks back, considering his personality and many of his prophecies that actually came to pass.
Many didn’t believe he could die so soon.
The world has not experienced anything like this as the mourning and burial plans of the great Prophet TB Joshua started to unfold.
Many delegates from all over the world came to pay their last respect to the Prophet despite the fact that people were restricted to visit Nigeria because of the ongoing pandemic of Covid-19.
Prophet TB Joshua has shown that even in death he still has an impact on the world as many people mourned him all over the world.
It’s as though the world was experiencing a burial of a King rather than a Prophet. He touched lots of lives privately and now they are celebrating him publicly.
Even President Muhammadu Buhari also commiserated with the family and members of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) on the passing of the Prophet.
He stated clearly that the renowned Prophet will be missed by his followers all over the world not only for his spiritual contributions but also for touching many lives through philanthropic gestures.
The Aare Onakakanfo of Yorubaland, Gani Adams who is from the as TB described Prophet TB Joshua as an Iroko tree, an abode for many souls.
His life was a complete definition of God’s generosity and philosophy. He was very humble, gentle and generous to a fault.
His large heartedness knows no tribe, colour, ethnicity, language or religion.
He was simply a winner of souls even spreading beyond the shores of Nigeria.
He opened a new vista in religious tourism and Nigeria earned a lot, in terms of foreign exchange from his accommodating spirit, with his death there has been an eclipse in God’s vineyard”.
Prophet TB Joshua was loved by many despite being tagged a controversial man of God, and besides his giving nature, during his lifetime, he lived a very simple and humble lifestyle.
It is a known fact that Pastors and Bishops these days are distinguished by their flamboyant lifestyle, private jets, designs suits, outfits and shoes.
Despite being rich enough to afford all these and more, TB Joshua was more interested in preaching the word of God and giving to the needy of society. Instead of living in a high brow neighbourhood, he lives in one of the low-cost areas in Lagos State, Ejigbo, Egbe axis, in a very unusual environment surrounded by water, lots of flowers and different pets in his house.
He lived like an average Nigerian, with 32 inches television in his living room, simple curtains, and faded leather chairs. The space in the living room is not even spacious enough for a man like TB Joshua that many would have proposed.
Even if he doesn’t desire to live a luxurious lifestyle, it is something that just a member of his church can easily do for him, but no, he prefers they channel such money to charity works, feeding the needy and hungry, giving scholarships and encouraging talents and skills.
He prefers his very simple lifestyle with few people around him. This very simple and humble lifestyle still remains a mystery to many.
Though, some of his believers claimed the preacher already knew that he was going to die.
The preacher reportedly died at 2 am on Sunday, June 6th and his death was officially announced through his church Facebook page on June 6th.
According to the source, it was revealed that on Saturday 5th June 2021, Prophet TB Joshua spoke during the Emmanuel TV Partners Meeting “Time For Everything… Time to come here for prayer and time to return home after the service”.
“God has taken his servant Prophet TB Joshua home as it should be by divine will. His last moments on earth were spent in the service of God. This is what he was born for, lived for and died for”.
An insider revealed he had a Saturday night mini service, and during the service, one of his most trusted disciple “wise men” noticed the animals and birds made strange and unusual noises and three angels appeared and he saw clearly during the service who they obviously came to pick. Then few minutes after the strange occurrence the Prophet handed over the mic to him to continue with the service while he stepped inside and that was the end.
He didn’t return to continue with the service, and those in attendance only became aware of the situation when it took long without seeing the preacher return.
They eventually searched his apartment and he was found dead by 2 am.
