It was a beautiful day in the month of March as the Supreme Head Chief Florence Trautman installed two female OSUN advocates in the person of Olayiwola Serifatu Osunyemi as the “Aworo Osun of Modakeke”, and Baliquis…O Osunbunmi Kolawole as Osun Iyin of Modakeke, in the presence of Oba Moses Oyediran Ajonbadi the third, the Ogunsua of Modakeke. Osun Festival takes place every third month of the year.
According to Pope Francis Jorge Mario Bergoglio “A church or temple without charity does not exist “hence the yearly giveaway of food donated by the Yeye Asa centre and notable philanthropist in the community.
The celebration starts off with the gift to the needy, distribution of food items and clothes were given to the poor etc.
