Bisi Olatilo's Elder Brothers Burial

•Details Of The 2-Day Party In IBADAN

Friday 5th February, 2021, veteran broadcaster, Bisi Olatilo’s elder brother, Prince Samuel Adeoba Latilo was buried in style in Ibadan, the capital city of Oyo State. The burial ceremony kicked off on Thursday 4th February, 2021, with Christian Wake, at the deceased residence, Azeez Amoo Street, Alakia, Ibadan.

Funeral and thanksgiving services were held at All Souls Cementary, Ologuneru/Eruwa Road, Ibadan. Where the deceased’s body was committed to mother earth. Guests were later hosted into a mini but colourful reception at Baba’s residence. It was, indeed, a celebration of a life well spent of Prince Samuel Adeoba Latilo, as children, family and friends gathered to pay their last respect.

City People Magazine’s Correspondent, Dare Adeniran and Photo Journalist, Wale Osanyintola were at the burial ceremony and brought you some gists from the well-attended party. It must also be noted that all COVID-19 protocols were strictly observed. That perhaps was the reason why the family decided not to have an elaborate party.

As moderate as the party was, however, it was still colorful and a burial ceremony befitting of an accomplished man and a leading light that Baba truly was. The best of the best party vendors were engaged for the party. All kinds of food, both local and continental dishes, as well as choice drinks, were made available in abundance. Not to talk of the finger foods and exotic drinks. Karee Catering, Omokehinde Alamala are some of the caterers who provided the sumptuous dishes at the party. Seraph Chiller and New Town handled drinks, M.C Crown anchored the events. While Kaka Band was on the bandstand. Enjoy it.
