Glamour, excitement as Ogun APC Chairman becomes Asoju Oba of Egbaland

The Alake of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo, has installed Chief Yemi Sanusi, the State Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State, as the 3rd Asoju Oba of Egbaland. The installation ceremony took place at the palace of Alake of Egbaland in Ake, Abeokuta, and was witnessed by various dignitaries, including the Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, former Governor of Ogun State, Chief Olusegun Osoba, former Deputy governor, Senator Gbenga Kaka, former Speaker of the house of representatives, Rt Hon. Dimeji Bankole, Senator Obadara, the Apena of Egba land, Chief Alani Bankole, among others.

During the ceremony, Governor Abiodun commended Oba Adedotun Gbadebo for bestowing the chieftaincy title on Yemi Sanusi, stating that the State Chairman deserved the title. He also described Sanusi as a capable leader who has performed exceptionally well as the chairman of the party.

 

Chief Yemi Sanusi, in his response, expressed gratitude for the honor bestowed upon him, assuring the people of Egbaland that he would make efforts to promote unity and contribute to the development of the region. He stated that the chieftaincy title was a call to service, and he would work hard not to disappoint the people of Egbaland.
