It was ecstasy as Japhet Egbede, a Bolt Driver based in Lagos became the winner of the last car as Glo wrapped up the Glo Joy Unlimited Extravaganza promotions. This is alongside other subscribers who carted home several prizes, including refrigerators, television sets and generators.
It was the final day of the Glo Joy Unlimited Extravaganza promotion which was kicked off on October 28 2021 and the outcome of the event marked a promise kept by the company.
The company over the last 3 months gave out over 500,000 prizes, including 15 brand new cars, thousands of household appliances such as fridges, television sets, generators, as well as Glo freebies, including data plans.
Over these months, the Glo Joy Unlimited Extravaganza promo team moved from Lagos to Enugu, Port Harcourt to Kano, Abuja to Jos, Benin to Warri, Ibadan to Illorin, and Onitsha to other cities, holding presentation ceremonies to hand over items won to winners and put a smile on the faces of subscribers and their families.
In all, 15 cars were given out in the promo and the last batch of the winners of these thousands of prizes and the 15th car were presented their prizes at an event at Gloworld at Adeola Odekun, Victoria Island Lagos.
Meanwhile, to witness the event were Glo ambassadors, government officials and representatives of the company itself, including, Head, Sales Planning, Kunle Arofin, multiple award-winning singer Teni, veteran actor, Yemi Solade, Nollywood actress and social media influencer, Uche Nwaefula. Also at the was Hon. Jude Emeka Idimogu of the Lagos State House of Assembly.
The car winner was overjoyed as he has been using a rental car for his Bolt driving business.
