Commissioning of MSME National Clinics, Road Project
The Governor of Ekiti State, Mr Biodun Oyebanji wishes to express his profound gratitude for the success of the 3rd Expanded National MSME Clinics in Ekiti State, culminating in the commissioning of the MSME Clinics Garment Hub and the Omisanjana-Deeper Life- Ajebandele Road by the Vice President, His Excellency, Senator Kahim Shettima during the course of his visit to the state on Thursday, June 6, 2024.
Specifically, Governor Oyebanji expresses his profound appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his keen interest in the development of Ekiti State as demonstrated in the President’s constant support for his administration’s development efforts. He describes the decision of the Federal Government to establish a new ICT hub in the state (which was disclosed by the Vice President during the MSME clinic’s inauguration) as an instance of numerous support the state has received from the President.
The Governor also expresses his gratitude to the Vice President, Senator Kashim Shettima for taking time out of his busy schedule to visit the state, inaugurate the MSME Clinics Garment Hub, commission a road project and spend some quality time to interact with representatives of the people, as well as the assurances he gave to the people on behalf of the President. He says Ekiti people remain thankful for the Vice president’s visit.
The Governor’s immense appreciation also goes to the three illustrious sons of Ekiti who accompanied the Vice President on the visit- the Senate Leader, Senator Michael Opeyemi Bamidele; Honourable Minister of Solid Minerals, Dr Dele Alake; and Permanent Secretary State House, Engr Funso Adebiyi. He says the state owes the trio a debt of gratitude for their sundry support for the administration.
He also expresses his special thanks to the Chairman of the State’s Traditional Rulers Council, HRM Oba Ayorinde Ilori Faboro, the Olojudo of Ido Ekiti; the Ewi of Ado-Ekiti, HRM Oba Adeyemo Adejugbe and all traditional rulers in the state.
Special thanks also to all religious leaders, heads of security agencies, heads of market women associations, artisans, drivers unions, and youth organisations for their solidarity with the government in giving the Vice President a befitting reception during the visit.
The Governor who describes the MSME Clinic as a strategic intervention that would aid economic growth and create economic opportunities for the people, urges the beneficiaries of the Federal Government’s grants to make judicious use of the money and the opportunities to improve their businesses. He says his administration would not relent in partnering with the Federal Government, its agencies and development partners in the bid to create economic opportunities for the people of the state in line with the shared prosperity agenda of the administration.
Quite importantly, the Governor says God deserves the biggest appreciation for the hugely successful and hitch-free visit of the Vice President to the State.
