City People Magazineis currently celebrating its 21st anniversary at the corporate event center in Gbagada.
The Publisher welcomes all invited guests and members of staff. According to him, the event was planned to be bigger before the sad news of K1’s daughter who passed away a night before the event.
Senator Tokunbo Afikuyomi commended the growth and achievement of City People. He stated that no political party in Nigeria has ever survived that much since independent. He congratulated the publisher for his doggedness and perseverance to survive up to this moment.
In all these changes in economy and polity, you have been able to survive the long journey.” I am optimistic that the years ahead will promise better times”, he assured.
He also commended City People for using the Social media platform in a reconstructive manner such that every follower is carried along in the happenings around us, politically socially and economically.
Senator Tokunbo also implored every citizen to be involved in the politicking process of the society from the grassroots level.

Mr, Wale Lawal, a member of the editorial team, also stated that the last couple of years have been extremely difficult, but God has been able to turn things around. He encouraged other members of staff to continue to persevere and hold on as better days are ahead.
