Super Eagles forward, Ahmed Musa has sealed his loan move from Leicester City to CSKA Moscow.
The Russian club sold the Nigerian to City for £16 million two years ago.
But Musa has struggled to find his feet at the club, and has been unable to get enough games under his belt.
“I’m happy to be going back home,” he told TheCable.
Both clubs, he said, reached the agreement Monday evening.
The senior national team manager, Gernot Rohr in an interview with reporters had earlier said that the door for playing at the world cup is opened to all Nigerian players abroad provided they keep their forms and fitness intact.
Regular playing time will afford Musa the opportunity to be part of the squad that will represent Nigeria at the summer world cup in Russia.
This was what had eluded the Kano born star, hence a need for him to seek another club where he can compete for shirt and football actions.
