At the last Ojude Oba Festival in Ijebu-Ode, one of the eminent personalities who dazzled at the event was Hon. (Dr.) Oladipupo Adebutu. All the Regberegbe members were already seated at the Pavillion when he walked in majestically, looking resplendent in his Agbada.
He walked in after the Lagos and Ogun State governors arrived and he took a walk around the Pavillion, greeting all the Regberegbe members who were already seated. Once they spotted him, they all rose to greet him and there was so much noise of joy, as they all shouted Ladooo! His nickname.
Many don’t know that he is a member of one of the Regberegbe groups. He is a valued member of Egbe Gbobaniyi Okunrin Akile-Ijebu. He is the Agbaakin of the group. He has a Ladi Adebutu Development Organisation.
Right now, popularity is on the rise across the state, especially in the Ijebu area. His dad, Chief Kessington Adebutu is from Iperu-Remo and his mum is from Odogbolu.
