How I Escaped Death Last Year In DUBAI

Over the last few years, Prophetess Mary Olubori has gone through a lot of challenges. Many of it, if not all, stemmed  from the hatred hurled at her by haters on Instagram, who have never seen anything good in her remarkable activities. There is also her unfortunate car accident last year in Dubai.

A few days ago, City People spent some time with her at her Havilah Mountain of Fire, Amuloko, Akanran Road, Off Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Ibadan, and we asked her how she felt going through all these challenges. As you read this, she is on the Mountain top praying.

She does this annually, at the beginning of the year. This time around, God asked her to pray for 90 days instead of her usual 21 days. She started sometime in December and it will end soon.

Despite the fact that she has been off the scene for months, she has not stopped helping people on a daily basis. She has been giving out palliatives. On the Mountain where she and her husband are in Ibadan, she has been cooking food for people to eat on a daily basis and helping them meet their financial challenges.

How does she cope?

“It is a Gift from God. It is everyday we cook, whether some people help us or not, it is everyday God said we should be cooking for the people in the street. On the street people are suffering and you know things are hard in the country now. So everybody will come and eat in the evening and go back. We don’t force them, we don’t say because they are not members. No. And it is not as if I’m doing any other business. It is not as if daddy is doing any other work, it is the work of God we are doing, but from mummy take this it to eat, mummy I saw miracles, I have come to say Thank you. So, we make sure we assist and take care of people. Some people want to travel, we make sure that we make provision of the Ticket money. We are not doing it so that they can know us or  to show off or doing it so that God can pay it back to us. You know those that are with me before. They did not offend me. I did not send them away, They are all in London. Seven(7) of  them last year, you know Kehinde, you know Mariam, Lekan, Theophilus, even my Police has gone to London. So that their can all make it. So that their generation can become prosperous. It should not be that we should be giving them fish but we should teach them how to catch fish. So, all of them have gone, all of this is through  the help of God. I know so many Pastors, that don’t show mercy. I remember when we had only one car, the car we bought by ourselves and God said we should give it to someone and we did and we were using our legs to walk. And after five(5) months, God gave us 3 cars. In those things I’ve learnt some lessons, that  whosoever shows Mercy will also receive Mercy.

A boy from GoldmyneTv wanted to do operation and God said I should give the person 2million. And he also said he needed some money again. And I told daddy and we are looking for it now, to give him more money so as to help him, so he can do the operation; Without asking or meeting any member. We were doing our own for God. If you are a Pastor or founder and you don’t do charity, your mission work is not complete.

There was a time you encountered so many backlash online. People were attacking you, saying all manners of things about you and the ministry online.  And the accident that happened in Dubai”.

How did God deliver her?

“Daddy can shed more light on it because he took over everything then. I want to tell you something, what you are asking me has turned to testimony today. That time I thought I was going to die, because it has never happened to me before. I have never experienced something like that”.

It happened during the time of TV Presenter, Segun Adisa. That one too really shook me. It was my first experience. There was a time God said we should not bath for 21 days and we should do dry fasting. We were fasting, all the members were fasting. We could not go home, we were on the mountain. We were living in Bashorun at that time, in one duplex apartment. My children could not go to school. They were sick because I could not see them for 3 months. We turned the mountain to our house. So, one of those that we conducted deliverance for alleged us that we shaved her private part hair, and we didn’t. It was her husband who shaved her private part hair and that caused a lot of problems for us. I was so devastated. I was asking God different questions. Why me? Despite my prayer and commitments, and God reminded me what He told me on the mountain in 1995, that I will face many tribulations. He said the more I experience tribulations the more I will progress in ministry. So, it was the battle I encountered in 2007 that made us to move to Lagos. We sued Mitv for defamation of character and false publication, and Alhaji Muri Gbadeyankan invited us to settle it amicably. It was after that meeting he now said he’s going to  compensate us with 5 slots on Tv, free of charge, that people need to know how God is using us mightily in Ibadan. Lo and behold, that was how our ministry started in Lagos. From there, 2years later I travelled to London. On getting to London, I don’t know how people got to know about me. They started coming for prayers and counseling and that was how London branch also started. Then the devil now entered some people, those people were close to me. My PA was there. Someone had told me before, OONI of Ife to be precise. We just went to greet him with my PA, and he said someone here will betray you. You did not offend the person, but it’s just spirit of envy lo and behold, the person started the problem. I remember when the problem started. My husband will be shouting on phone “don’t call my wife again”.

My husband is a wonderful man. No wonder the Bible says two are better than one.

God used this man, he fought the battle for me.

I can’t joke with him at all. They went to court, he paid and I did not interfere.  I was just breathing heavily, it got to a stage I couldn’t breathe well again.  They said when people come I use to do ritual for them, they said I sell saliva.

There was someone that was sick in Canada and nothing could cure him, but Lord told me to spit in a water to bath, I did and we sent the water to him. He used it to bath and he was healed. I didn’t collect anything from him but they were saying I collected 500k. The man came for thanksgiving and they edited the thanksgiving part with the live video where the message came to him and they started spreading it, but this man stood by me. A lot of big big people stood by me. People that I didn’t expect were the one who stood.

Whosoever visit me, they blog the person. So many people ran away from me.

But today God turned everything to blessing for us.

Last year I had a dream, on the same day I had an accident in Dubai, and I told my husband about it, that some people want to kill me. We prayed about it. Later that day my son and I decided to go and have fun at safari tour. At first I was really scared probably because of the dream I had.  And all of a sudden the car caught fire while on the speed. I’ve inhaled the smoke I couldn’t breathe again. God used my son to rescue me on that day”.

What are the other programmes that she has for this year?

“We are currently observing our 90 days prayer and fasting. That will end in March.

So after that, we will have another program in May, we will all be coming to Nigeria by May ending, the Monday that will end the month of May, on the 24th. So, we have anniversary of the “Ori-Oke”, it will be 19 years, but the church will be 28 years, our marriage will be 27 years this year, my first daughter will be 26 years this year, that is how they followed each other.  So, the church, ROSAC will be 28 years this year and HAvilah Mountain will be 19 years in May”.
