This pretty tall lady, Chioma Lette is the Chief Executive Officer of Havilah Haven Beauty Parlour. Her job is to make other ladies look extra beautiful, inside out. While she was at Port Harcourt, the hub of Oil business in Nigeria, she established Havilah Haven Beauty Parlour years ago. But she has relocated to Lagos. But she has continued running her creative beauty enterprise successfully.

Who is Chioma Lette?
I am Chioma Lette, I am the Chief Executive Officer of Havilah Haven Beauty Salon.
What really motivated you to venture into the beauty therapy business?
I got motivated to enhance the beauty in people.
You are naturally beautiful. How have you been able to maintain this to date?
As a beautician, I have to be my first model. I take care of myself. I use good products and I eat well. I also exercise and rest well.
How did you come up with your brand name Havilah Haven Beauty Salon?
Havilah is a Hebrew name with several meanings, basically experiences that brings forth Gold which I choose to see in ladies in the beauty industry.
What were your growing up years like?
My growing years were a beautiful one being raised by a single parent, my mom, as such I got the support that I needed from her.
Tell us about how you first met your husband?
My husband met me at my cousin’s wedding.
Give us your academic background?
I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree B.A in Economics.
How has the current COVID 19 pandemic affected the beauty therapy industry?
As a result of the lock down due to the Covid-19 pandemic, patronage has been low and the cost of products are increasing due to the change in the United States of American Dollar rate of exchange.
What other services do you provide your esteemed customers apart from beauty therapy and its accessories?
None.
Do you regret going into Beauty therapy business given the reduction in patronage due to Covid 19 and economic malaise?
I have no regrets, because the lock down did not just affect the beauty industry alone but the entire global economic sector of world development.
What are other challenges you have as a female entrepreneur?
The other challenge I have is having to deal with people daily as it hasn’t been easy as some will always doubt my ability as a lady in business. But God has been faithful.
What advice do you have for ladies who are yet to embrace entrepreneurship?
My advice to ladies is that they should all embrace entrepreneurship, as it will avail them the time, they need to make profit, which cannot be over-emphasized, as long as they are able to use their skills to serve the general masses. It also gives them the opportunity to be an employer of labour
