+How His Wives Dazzled At The Burial
The people of Ijebu-Ode will not forget in a hurry, the burial of K1’s mother, Alhaja Halimoh Shadiya Anifowose, who lived a fulfilling life and transited to glory at 105. Her rite of passage took the whole of 7-days as eminent dignitaries stormed Ijebu-Ode to greet K1 and his family members .
His Ojushagbola Palace in GRA Ijebu-Ode and his Mayegun Resorts, located exactly opposite his house was a beehive of activities last week as K1 shuttled between his sprawling house and the hotel.
Because of the huge volume of guests, all the quality hotels and guest houses were fully booked. Dignitaries were made up of Governors, Senators, Ministers, House of Reps Members, big businessmen, musicians, actors, big time socialites, family members, friends and well wishers.
For 7-days, the social media was agog, as all the major bloggers in Nigeria shifted to Ijebu-Ode to capture the happening moments in his house and hotel.
From the very moment when Mama passed on two Sundays back, in Ijebu-Ode, a lot of bloggers and reporters took off from their various locations and relocated to K1’s house to capture defining moments.
K1 moved aound town in a convoy of cars with horse riders. He drove his black Rolls Royce. In Ijebu-Ode, K1 lives big. He lives like a Star that he is. In less than 10 years, he has been able to create his own unique world as a Star in Ijebu-Ode, where apart from the Awujale of Ijebuland, he is the biggest celebrity resident there. His house is usually a Mecca of sorts, especially when he is in town.
Years back, when he relocated to Ijebu-Ode from Okota, in Lagos to live, his plan was to create a big base for himself and to attract other stars and eminent people to come to Ijebu-Ode to spend time with him. And since then, he has achieved that. Over the last few years, he has held a lot of big events and parties, the biggest being when he was crowned the Olori Omooba Akile Ijebu. And he has lived to that bidding.
Once the news of K1s mum’s death broke, two Sundays back, activities began at his Ojusagbola Palace, in Ijebu-Ode, where the late Alhaja Halimah Shadia Anifowose lived. In the last few years, she lived with her son K1 who was so fond of him. Mama, Alhaja Omooba Halimah Shadiya Adesanya Anifowose is from Ilupeju-Ekiti. One of K1’s favourite passtime was to go and sit down with his mum who lived in a separate building within his sprawling mansion. Both of them enjoyed a very, very close relationship. She, more than his dad, helped to shape K1s life, he once explained.
From the moment the news of the death of K1’s mother was announced, the speed at which a lot of celebrities and dignitaries stormed Ijebu-Ode to be part of the burial was amazing. And many went to sign the Condolence Registar.
So, there was activity every moment from Day 1, Day 2, Day 3 to Day 4, Day 5, Day 6 and Day 7 when the 7th day Firdau and final burial was done. There was food everyday and cows were killed on a daily basis. There was also more than enough drinks. Top vendors handled Catering from Bonix, Semboss Events, Halaga, Shola Fish, Foodlap Catering, Icreative Fruit Cocktails.
Sheikh Farouk Onikijipa led over 30 Chief Imams to the Grand Fidau. The solemn ceremony was attended by family, friends and well wishers and it featured Islamic scholars leading prayers for the soul of the departed matriach.
Many Fuji stars rallied round K1, as each of them visited him in Ijebu-Ode day after day. Even all those who had been rumoured not to be in K1’s good books, came and prostrated before K1 who is today regarded as the modern day Fuji King. Going by his status today, K1 ranks as the biggest and richest Fuji star.
Not only did President Bola Tinubu called to commiserate with him, so many Governors,. Ministers, Senators, Lawmakers called and many more sent him letters.
The high point of the 7 day festivity was the role played by 2 of K1’s wives, Emmanuella Ropo Ayinde-Marshal whom he married in November 2021 and Titi, whose full name is Fathia Opeyemi Marshal who got married to K1 on 3rd March, 2018 which coincided with K1’s 61st birthday.
The 2 beautiful ladies were on ground fully, with their children and they were backed up by their friends, who are celebrity ladies. Another of K1’s wife, Ololade Jamila and her daughter were also there. All of them jostled for K1s attention.
And K1 enjoyed the attention his wives gave to him.
On the first day, both Titi and Emmanuella showed K1 a lot of attention.
They followed K1 about and each of them tried to out do the other. Titi stayed glued to K1 throughout. Emmanuella did the same also. At a point, when K1 out of stress broke into sweat, Titi was seen showing affection, as she brought out her white handkerchief to wipe K1’s sweat.
Immediately she did that the video went viral. Emmanuella too stayed glued to her husband as he moved from one part of the house to another.
Of course, the 2 of them played their roles as wives, as they received guests and friends of K1.
Expectedly, tongues began to wag about Titi, when they saw all the roles she was playing.
She interacted freely with all the household of K1 and they wondered if this estranged wife of K1 was back.
City People gathered that unknown to many, she has been back since. City People learnt that since their separation years back, K1 and Titi have made up and once or twice. K1 had gone to visit her, when she had events.
It only took the death of K1’s mother to bring them back in public glare. Those close to Titi insists that Titi and her husband K1 can’t really be separated, as she loves K1 so much, and K1 in turn loves Titi who he usually sings about at events.
There was also an online competition between. Emmanuella and Titi who took to the social media to compete for K1s attention. Over the last 7-days, Titi and Emmanuella have been very active on their Facebook and IG pages and their friends and fans had been reposting videos. So, in the last few days the internet was agog with the videos posted by K1’s media team, Titi and Emmanuella.
So many videos came from Titi’s friends, showing various short videos of Titi dancing in her shop and house, to K1’s songs in which the Oluaye seranaded her. To show intimacy, Emmanuella also posted the video of K1’s mum playing with her at home in Ijebu.
All through the 7 day festivity, it was a big battle between Titi & Emmanuella, as each of them tried to outshine each other. And at the 7 days Fidau, the ranks of all the celebrity ladies were divided. All the society women who came queued behind either Titi or Emmanuella.
Titi came with her friends. And Emmanuella came with her own too. Both of them had Bloggers loyal to them, on both sides who did live streaming showing both wives doing ‘fori-fori’ for each other.
Both moved from one music artiste to the other and danced round the big venue as bloggers videoed each of them and posted.
A lot of bloggers had a field day as they took video shots and posted immediately.
So, it was a Video War online.
At the burial events K1 and Titi rekindled their love as K1 did not restrain his 2 wives from showering him with love.
At a point, he got Emmanuella to sit on his laps and was enjoying all the show of love. There was no doubting the fact that K1 still loves Titi and she knows that too, explained an insider. And Titi took advantage of that to show her unrestrained love for K1.
Of course, Emmanuella saw all that and reacted accordingly. Her friends said she is up to the task. And she retaliated.
In those good old days, K1 had shown Titi unrestrained love with songs and all these old videos went viral last week. In Ijebu, K1 affectionately called Titi Marshall, the mother of 3 of his kids, ‘Baby’ when he asked her to take the front seat of his Black Rolls Royce and he drove off with Emmanuella sitting at the back seat. Throughout, he was nice to both of them.
That was why many concluded that K1 and Titi Marshal, also called Fathia have resolved their difference and are back together.
Many of K1’s friends, were not worried at all, by the way the 2 wives dazzled each other. They said, they know K1 is up to the task. They were so sure he will manage the situation well. And he did. That was why the 2 wives interacted freely with a lot of K1’s friends, uninhibited.
They are used to them.
To further show love for K1, Titi practically relocated to Ijebu-Ode with her family and friends, for the duration of the rites of passage. She didn’t want to be left out.
Both Emmanuella and Titi have a lot in common. They are stunning beauties. They are stylish. They are adorable ladies. Both love to dance and sing. Both have a fetish for Gold Jewelry. They both love good shoes and bags. They are addicted to expensive perfumes. Both are also succeessful businesswomen that can’t be easily intimidated by anybody.
