Indeed, he is an astute politician, who has done well in Politics. He is one politician who started from the scratch and has risen to the very top. Like a political analyst once put it,he has shown that every dream is realisable, as long as the dreamer is focused and committed.
Many won’t believe that he started from a humble beginning as a Local Government Councillor in 1999,and he rose to become a key figure in the politics of Lagos, climbing up to become the Number 3 person in the state. Yet, he has remained humble, and unassuming .
Many don’t know he is a 2006 Law graduate of the Lagos State University. He is a Lawyer. He is not just a leader, but a grassroot mobiliser. These two traits have endeared him to his constituents.
The reward came when he presented himself to represent his constituency, Agege Constituency 1, in the Lagos State House of Assembly in 2003, and his constituents massively voted for him. He did not disappoint them. His remarkable performance in law making has kept him in the House since 2003.
No wonder he became the Speaker of the 8th Assembly on June 8, 2015 and was reelected by his colleagues to continue with his good works in the current 9th Assembly.
Lets tell you about his past. He was born in Agege on November 11, 1972.The 50-year-old lawmaker, who first represented his constituency on the platform of the Alliance for Democracy (AD) before it transformed to APC.

He received a Bachelor’s degree in Law from Lagos State University, Lagos in the year 2006.
The success story of his involvement in Politics dates back to 1999,when he contested the seat of councilor at Agege local government under the Alliance for Democracy party and won, which he served between 1999 and 2002.
He re-contested for his constituency in the 2019 state election and was re-elected as member of the Lagos State house of assembly, becoming the first to be re-elected into office 3 consecutive times, and a 5th term record.
