Upon arrival at the scene of the incident, some rooms on the third floor of a three-storey building were observed to have been engulfed by fire.
Information gathered revealed that clothing materials are kept inside the stores. Fortunately, no casualty was involved in the incident. The cause of the fire could not be ascertained.
The fire was successfully subdued by the combined efforts of the Agency’s response team alongside Lagos State fire service, LRU Fire unit, UBA fire unit, LNSC, CBD and Nigeria Police. Dampening has also been concluded to prevent it from reigniting. Operation concluded.
